This range of books is always delightful to read to my children.
The different, bright colours, textures and patterns ensure they are engaged with each page, wanting to feel, touch, compare and talk about what they are seeing which I feel helps greatly with their imaginations and ability to learn to be descriptive in different ways.
Each book is different in its own way so you don’t find them too repetitive if you have lots like our family does!
They are nicely sized, so are easy for little hands to handle, and no pages can be ripped or easily destroyed.
The only slight bugbear I have is the price as I feel £4.99 would be a more reasonable amount to pay.

My little one is 6 months and I'm always reading books to her, she's much more interested in the touchy feely books, this book is colourful, good quality and all about unicorns, can't go wrong buying this for your little ones!

Description

Usborne books presents their range of children reading 'That's Not My....'

Every double page of the book has an interesting texture to feel, such as bumpy teeth or slippery flippers, as your child explores the surface of the animals. Combined with simple text and illustrations this is meant to help very young children develop sensory and language awareness.
