So I had read really good reviews on the App Store before buying and downloading. In hope that we could hear our baby’s heart beat at home we were desperate to try this app, and we kept trying it every week to see if the later stages would make a difference...it didn’t. Even at 40 weeks pregnant we couldn’t hear anything. This may have been because of my placenta placement (as I had an anterior placenta) but it didn’t say that this could be a factor when reading the description.
Because this didn’t work, I felt like although this is a really lovely idea, it only works in theory and isn’t practical. It raised my hopes initially but actually just made me more anxious when I could find and hear baby’s heart beat.
