I absolutely love this, I can now play a couple of different nursery rhymes using this with my little one. It's also a good sise for little hands to use and explore different pitches. It also smells devine! It's so colourful and cute! It keeps my little one so entertained. It does take a little time to remember how to play a nursery rhyme on it but once you get the hang of it you'll remember time and time again. My now 10 year old also had one of these when she was a baby and she loved it just as much!

My 5 month old baby girl has just started to interact with her toys and this octopus is by far her favourite, so brightly coloured and there is lots of fun sensory features for her to explore. I give it to her while she's on her tummy and she really enjoys playing with it. Perfect!

This is a nice idea however the legs are hard for your ones to press also sometimes some of our octopuses legs don't work which is disappointing.
That said Octotunes is bright and has a happy face, he is a nice toy to have.
I don't think I would buy this again if I had the opportunity as he is quite big so hard to store.

Good idea, son's found it hard to squeeze the legs. Adults had more fun with it than the children. Lost interest easily.
    Smells amazing thou! Like vanilla.

This product was purchased as a gift. The toy was a good price and was a cute product. The toy went down well but the baby was a little too small to maintain massive interest.
Nice colours and design but this one specifically for a girls due to the colours perhaps?

This brightly coloured jingly octopus is much loved by my little one. Each of the legs have an activity to enagage the baby with. The high quality, reasonable price and the softness are it’s key features which makes it attractive to little ones. The fabric is lovely to touch and each of the legs has a different detailed noise. This octopus provides fun for hours for little one and is just the correct size for those little hands to hold without losing interest. The product is easy to clean and we have had lots of fun with this cute little noisy octopus!

In hindsight I wish I hadn't brought this for my son as its not worth the £24 I spent on it. It makes sounds but a baby wouldn't be able to do it. It's very bulky, I normally use it as a support in case baby falls back when sitting up. He does like to play with it and examine all the colours on it.

The Octotune is great in theory but not so much in real life. It is basically a large octopus Lamaze toy, and each leg can be squeezed to make a sound. Each leg plays a different note. But you do have to squeeze it quite hard. The Octotune come with some guides on playing familiar songs....however this would be for adults (therefore I enjoyed using it) but my son lost interest in this very, very quickly.....sadly it now lives at the bottom of a teddy toy box.

This is a fab toy that my 5 month old loves exploring. She can sit and listen to me create tunes on it for hours. The only issue with it is that it states that t for use from newborn, however the tentacles are very hard to manipulate and press to create a sound.

The octopus is fun for all of about 5 minutes. Although advised this is suitable from birth my little one never really took an interest till she was 18 months. Yes it's colourful and has a range of textures for sensory play I honestly don't think it's worth it there are much better toys on the market. Shame as we have lots of Lamaze toys and think they are great quality but this one just falls a bit short on expectation.

I got this for my eldest son when he was 6 months old. He immediately loved it. It is brightly coloured and has a lovely vanilla scent in it. It came with a booklet which showed you which tentacle to squeeze and in which order to get the songs you want. I found this useful and entertaining so did my son. However he coudlnt squeeze hard enough to get any sound out of it himself.
I have since had 2 further children and they have all played with it. It has withstood a lot of use and still looks almost new. The smell is still there and my youngest child who is 10 months is still enjoying it.

I love the Lamaze toys and have several in the range. They are always great quality and this is no exception. It’s really interesting and brightly coloured. The tentacles each make a different noise and you are able to create tunes from them (which my son loves!) There is a handle on top which means it can be carried around although it is a little bulky for small hands. I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone.

This is definitely a product which needs a bit of adult help as it's a bit big for little hands. It is great fun and you can download lots of songs to learn, even some modern songs. Me and my husband have great fun playing with our son with this toy and it really makes him giggle.

This is a good toy for exploring different textures and sounds. It is a bit big for a young baby to handle by themselves.
If they are playing on the floor they will be able to spot this easily. I have found my little one is able to interact with this more while on the floor rather than sitting in the pushchair. This might change as she gets older.

This is a brilliant toy as it’s not only colourful with various bits on it but it makes different notes when you squeeze the tentacle allowing you to even play a tune. Every tentacle sounds different and it is easy to press.
Due to it smelling of vanilla it also smells lovely.
It’s a toy which would make any child happy due to its bright colours and ease of use.
It is a lot bigger than the other Lamaze toys but that doesn’t matter. It needs to be big for the tentacles.
    Worth the money.
