It's quite an expensive product and I have twins so I bought 2 but any cheaper none branded one couldve done the same job. It doesn't always keep the sun off and needs moving constantly which is quite tough to do

The parasols is of high bugaboo quality as expected, is easy to attach to the bugaboo pushchairs and fits in with the appealing aesthetic. However, it is not easy to manouver, either out of passer-by's way or to protect baby from the sun as you change direction the sun is in. Unfortunately I have had to also use a non branded sunshade.

I have this parasol on my bugaboo cam, if you’re walking in a straight line it’s ok, but as soon as you start moving in different directions and need to move it, problems occur! 9/10 times it ends up Uncliping from the frame as it’s so stiff to move the arm. Disappointing given the price of the parasol!

      Lovely style, and built well

    • Weaknesses:

Can not move/bend to the position you need it in.

For the price that you pay for this I would say that it is not worth the money.
It is really nice and easy to put up however I find that it does not shade the baby very well. I have had to try and hold it in place when walking. It is ok when you are not moving.

    • Strengths:

It is definitelly build to last as I had mine from my in law after her 2 kids.

    • Weaknesses:

It is so difficult to manoeuvre

It is so difficult to manoeuvre to get the shade on the baby and to top it up even if I slide it as high as possible on the rails it still is making the buggy even wider so when walking about you have to keep an eye not to hit people passing by. It only moves in one direction whereas it really need to be more flexible to be able to lean it over the buggy itself. Most of the times I don't even bother to try unless I'm sitting down somewhere.

Its just generally a bit of a faff to keep moving it to block the sun. Fine if you're sat in one spot. Lots of other better options from bugaboo although they can be a bit pricey.

I wouldn’t recommend the bugaboo parasol at all. I would’ve bought a much cheaper version had I known how hard this was going to be to use. First of all it was such a performance to try and attach to the actual bugaboo pram, then once it was attached it was so difficult to manoeuvre to try and stop the sunlight getting in my babies eyes. The product itself is very smart however is so difficult to use and I wouldn’t recommend to anybody after taking what seemed hours to try and attach the parasol once we where out and about and I moved the parasol as the direction of the sun had changed it just fell off the pram onto the pavement. I definitely recommend buying a non named parasol that would be much cheaper.
