I didn’t have this in the first few weeks of my babies life and I now don’t know how I coped. Boiling a kettle waiting half an hour etc so time consuming and boring in all honesty. This has made my life so much easier and my little girl is much happier as she doesn’t have to wait for her bottle to be warmed up. Complete god send and would be lost without it!!! - Strengths:

The perfect prep is the best thing you can buy if you are formula feeding. It makes a feed in less than two minutes. My husband and I find it so easy to use especially, if you have a hungry baby wanting her food. We got ours for around £60.00 as it was in a sale and it's value for money.Read more
The only downfall is changing the filter every three months. I found the info on changing the filter very fiddly and confusing. I had to get my husband to help me. However, I was changing the filter first thing in the morning when hungry probs not the best time.

This has to be one of the best baby product’s we bought. It’s quick and easy to use, it save’s so much time from having to measure the get the temperature of the water right. The only downside is that the replacement filter’s are very expensive just for one!! - Strengths:

We originally bought this with the intention to use as soon as we got baby home but after listening to our midwife and all the bad press it got at the time due to dirty pipes and poorly babies we put it off until our little one was around 5 months. On first impressions it was a life saver in not having to prep a bottle in advance in order to get it cool enough and making sure no one boilt the kettle again on you ha! I will say we have never had a problem in terms of cleanliness of the machine we clean it out regularly and change the filter as soon as the light illuminates so I wouldn’t be out of by past stories. As a first time mommy it’s been a really life saver and helped out with the night feeds and during the day when we are at home. Great investment and will keep for my next baby and I’ve been telling all my friends that are expecting babies. I could not live without this product. After having nephews and waiting for a bottle to cool whilst baby was crying I knew I needed this for my first. The bottle is ready to perfect temperature in minutes which is especially helpful in the middle of the night! - Strengths:

I have used my perfect prep now for both of my daughters and it has been a godsend for night feeds! We put the machine in our bedroom and we can do a complete feed from making the bottle to back to bed in 15 minutes on a good day. Simply set the dial to required no of ounces, push the button, mix in the powder and push again - simple! The only downside for us is both of our girls have liked their bottles quite warm and this makes the bottles breast milk temperature so we have to quickly drop it in a bottle warmer halfway through. This is a great product to use and I wouldn’t be without it next time round but it could do with a few tweaks but I believe it’s the way it is for hygiene reasons so you have to put boiling water in then you add the powder then the rest of the water but as your adding the powder to boiling water it sticks to the spoon , also you need to have the amount of powder you need already measured out other wise it’s slow but good product. - Strengths:

I love love love this machine especially at night time when I don't want my little one to get too irritable before her bottle is ready. The 4oz minimum isn't the best when baby is new born as it means a fair amount of waste. The machine is fairly expensive at full price but they are often in sales and then they are definitely worth the investment. The loud beep is fairly annoying during night feeds bit considering how convenient the machine is it's not that bad ! - Strengths:

I didn’t have this product with my first child but everyone told me it was a must have product. So with my second once I stopped feeding at 3 months we invested in the perfect prep. I must say I was expecting more, I thought that you put a bottle in and the machine did the rest. I found straight away that following the directions of hot water shot first, then powder doesn’t work very well. I find the steam means that it clumps to the spoon or dispenser you using and you don’t get the full amount dispensed into the bottle. So I have changed it to put the powder in first. This seems to work better.Read more
Also I do find the milk doesn’t always mix that well, this could be the milk we use as I have nothing to compare to.
Although it didn’t do exactly what i was expecting it has stopped the need to have cooled boiled water ready for bottles. So in conclusion I would say it is worth getting but feel it could do more. - Strengths:
