The sleepyhead is pure gold for me.
My Little One always struggles to sleep from the first month but when I bought the pod he just slept like a little angel.
I consider it really safe from the moment the baby doesn’t really manage to roll from his back to a different position. The material is breathable and safe in case the baby nose is close to the edge.
It’s very easy to clean even tho I can’t say the same to put it back together.
I always needed my husband help.
The pod is expensive but definitely a must have and worth the expense.
They should create an adult version... when mummy needs some cosy sleep too !!!

We used this from day one of our baby coming home from hospital. We could tell straight away that he definitely needed a feeling of security and would only sleep if he was swaddled and in the sleepyhead. It's so soft and well cushioned that it has made the perfect bed for him.
The only issue is that the covers are expensive and can take a long time to dry. I think each family do need two covers so they can be rotated while once is being washed/dried.

I was really sceptical when I was pregnant about getting this. It seemed like a heck of a lot of money to spend on what I thought was a cushion. I read a lot of reviews and decided I wanted to give it a try and I’m so glad I did.
I used it as a bed for the baby to sleep in downstairs in the day time so I could keep an eye on him. I could move it from room to room easily so he was always where I wanted him to be and when he got a little older, I put it inside his Moses basket as he slept better feeling cocooned.
I also used it as a travel bed when he was small as it was much easier to carry around rather than a travel cot. It meant when I would visit my mum, I could put him on the other side of the bed in his sleepyhead.
Very very useful and I’ve packed it away ready for baby number 2.

    Bad points.....
There are less expensive options on the market. I don’t know if this is better or worth the extra money as I haven’t tried the others.
It’s white...... anyone who makes baby products in white fabric clearly don’t have children of their own! Facts!

This is worth every penny ! The day we bought it we got a full nights sleep! It fit in our bassinet and our Prams carry cot. Baby was super secure and comfy it it and it gave me peace of mind that he wouldn’t roll over.

We used our sleepyhead deluxe from the day we came home from hospital and everyday since. It’s a comfortable safe place for my newborn baby to sleep. The high cushioned sides means your baby can’t roll out or move anywhere giving you that added peace of mind. The only downside I would say is once you’ve washed it you can’t tumble dry it. And when you try to put it all back together it is a little difficult as the cover shrinks slightly when washed.

My LB has used his sleepy head since his 1st week & is now 3 months. It really helped as a newborn as he experienced regular Morton reflexes & would startled himself awake. Swaddles helped but these were too hot during the heatwave & the sleepyhead was the perfect product to stop him startling himself awake.
Too expensive in my opinions so we got them on eBay but a brilliant product. Would recommend.

Initially I refused to spend money on this "glorified cushion"... but then we hit sleep regression and "mad jazz hands" stage (you'll know what I mean when it happens!) and suddenly £130 seemed like an incredible bargain for a few solid hours of sleep.
I think my daughter found it comforting having a soft edge all around her body. And she most definitely slept better. I should clarify that we also used it with the original Summer Infant swaddle which also helped with the "mad jazz hands"
I know that sleep positioners have had some pretty detrimental press recently but I have to say that we never felt that our baby daughter was in any danger while in her Sleepyhead.
We used it for co-sleeping (in our own bed and in her bed-side cot) then in her big cot, until approx 6-7 months.
The cover comes off easily and the fabric washes really well. It comes with plastic travel cover and it's actually quite compact. We used it for sleepovers until our girl started crawling.
I would definitely recommend this product as an absolute must buy.

My daughter loves sleeping in her sleepyhead,
Being a smaller baby she loves being swaddled and cosy, so with the sleepyhead this has been made possible.
She feels safe and secure which I believe is why she has slept so well from day 1.
    Would 100% recommend this product.

This was a must buy on every website and blog for newborn musts and I was lucky enough to be gifted one at my baby shower. It is very well designed and made and when my son was a newborn it really helped him to sleep well and feel safe and secure. He would nap in it and we put it in his snuzpod at night (it fits in perfectly btw). It is easy to travel with and means baby has a familiar place to sleep. It was also great to put in our bed so baby could co sleep but still be safe and secure. Now he is 5 months he has pretty much outgrown it which is a shame as it is meant to be for up to 8 months and he is not particularly big for his age.
The spare covers are also expensive but they have some beautiful designs.
I would definitely recommend this for all newborns but be prepared for it to not last up to 8 months.

I would recommend this product as a must have because I used it in my next to me crib made my baby feel safe and secure and cosy and she didn’t have all that space around her, she grew out of it when she started to move around more and wanted to spread her arms and legs, even though she used it for couple of month I still would buy this, also helps keep baby safe!

One of the best baby items I have bought, from day one my baby girl has slept in her sleepyhead, I love that I can move it into any room and let her sleep/lay in it, also it’s fab for us to take with us when visiting family so she always has some where to lay, we love it so much that we are upgrading soon.

Me and my baby love the sleepyhead. It’s our best friend when it comes to sleep. It leaves your baby feeling snug and we haven’t had any issues with sleep since using it at 5 weeks old. Now at almost 4 months I have purchased the bigger one as he is fast outgrowing it and I could not be without. It is expensive for how long it lasts but who can put a price on sleep?!

We used our sleepyhead from day one with our little man, he absolutely loved it and slept so well in it. The problem I am experiencing is weaning baby off his sleepyhead, he has now began to roll and sleepy on his tummy or side. Would recommend product and will buy the Sleepyhead Grande if it means little man sleeps

When we first brought our son home we could not get him to sleep! A friend recommended this to us and we we purchased it straight away, we weren’t disappointed, our son now sleeps!

We use with a swaddle for most naps as our boy loves his startle reflex!

I would recommend for sure, only downfall is that it’s pricey and covers are too. If it gets dirty I have to wash and dry on the same day.

I've used a sleepyhead for both my daughters and they have been the only reason why I've actually slept! Both girls have immediately fallen asleep and stayed asleep in them and because they're so easy to move around we've used them for day naps, travel cots and Co sleeping! Only downside is that although the covers are washable, they are a pain to get back on.. So go for one with a pattern! Best of all they have a high ré sale value so you can sell on afterwards!

This product is amazing. My newborn baby girl immediately settled in this compared to her Moses basket. She is able to self soothe already and can sleep maximum 6 hours in this undisturbed. Very easy to transport and much more space saving than a Moses basket. The white cover is a little downside simply because it's difficult to keep pristine but a quick wash on a warm day and I can have it dried for her next nap. Would recommend this to every one

Exactly as the name suggested. really helped with my little one sleeping but he didn't have it for long so maybe next time ey - I suggest using your own sheets too as the replacement covers seem very pricey. They fit very well in the cot bed and was easy to use during the day for practising the tummy roll and for napping.

For the price it is worth it for your child's safety while sleeping as it's easy to place your child on the side or the recommended stance.

With a colic & reflux baby, sleep for us both has been very limited. Power naps for 30mins at a time if all she would have all day & night. Got the sleepy head when she was 11 weeks & instantly she slept a bit longer. Night 1, slept for 2 hours then up every hour. Night 2, slept for 2 hours fed then asleep for 1 1/2 hours. Night 3, sleep by 11.30, stored at 3.30 but fell back to sleep then up at 6.30 for a feed. Fingers crossed this continues. We can finally put her down without her crying too.

This item changed night times for us completely. Our velcro baby, who hated to be swaddled, was finally happy to be put down to sleep in his own crib (inside the sleepyhead) and was soon spending the entire night doing so, aside from feeds. Now at 9 weeks he will even be put into the sleepyhead awake at night and self settle to sleep. The sleepyhead head is also slight inclined to help prevent reflux and is said to help prevent flat head. Our baby has a lovely round head.

It is a bit pricey but you can't put a price on sleep!
