Great size smells good, easy for Cerys to hold onto, but I found when dropped onto a carpet or rug, it's like a magnet to fluff. Nothing a quick wash under the tap can't fix.

My baby started teething at 3 months. At that time this was useless. He wasn’t holding things or putting them in his mouth so he got very frustrated with Sophie.
Fast forward to 6 months, he loves it, he gets satisfaction from biting the feet, neck, ears and face.
The squeaky function doesn’t really do anything for him, he’s not too bothered by it.
A down side is how bulky this is, there are smaller teethers which are more effective and more compact.
It would be better if there was a loop
In this to be able to hang it from somewhere to save baby dropping it

Sophie made my baby smile from 8 wekks old. Just the sound of her squeak gave her joy. As my little girl grew her intrest in Sophie inly increased. She loves to play 'where is the noise' with her, chew her and cuddle up to her when she sleepy.
Now she is teathing the giraffe is mainly used a a teether. This toy is a great multi purpose toy. I highly reccomend.

We love Sophie, personally I like the vanilla smell, Emelia loves that she's great to chew on, so great that my teething puppy also took a liking to her!

A little expensive, but seems to help my baby so the price is worth it.

My son started teething at three months and got his teeth not too long after. He’s not the smallest of babies but did struggle to hold this initially.
Now he’s more in control of his hands and he’s a bit bigger he absolutely loves his sophie! With so many different parts to chew and a squeaker he can only sometimes manage to get he is kept entertained for hours with this and it also helps his sore little gums! His little friend recently took this from his and he too loved it! (He doesn’t yet pick up many toys and put them to his mouth but he loves sophie!)
For the main park sophie is soft but her head and feet are a little harder so suitable for when teeth come through and before they’ve broken through!

We adore Sophie La Giraffe and our son had one when he was a baby (7 years ago!). We bought this again (in a set) for our newborn as it was better value for money (but would also make a really lovely newborn gift). The best teething toys out there - we recommend them to everyone! The only issue I have is that you can't whack the Sophie teethers in the steriliser and too much water on this one makes the squeak go funny or stop altogether sadly.

I have bought this product twice. My daughter loved her giraffe, couldn’t get it out of her mouth. My son however, has no interest in it what so ever. It is hard to clean as you can’t submerge it in water or steam.

We got Sophie as a gift for my little baby girl (also Sophie). We absolutely love it. Its very nice in touch and looks beautiful. My baby only just started interacting with the toy and she loves it. It's a bit pricey and I don't think I'd but it for myself. I will definitely consider buying another Sophie as a gift. The packaging is absolutely lovely! I understand why it's hard to clean the giraffe, yet it's still a bit frustrating not to be able to clean it "enough" (but it may just be overprotective fist time mum's problem).

Sophie the giraffe wouldn’t have been my first choice as I didn’t like her that much however we were bought one as a gift and baby loves it, she chews her constantly, it keeps her quiet & mummy happy! Easily washed, great toy and tether.

Different and fun choice of shape/design for a teether. My 3 year old daughter now uses it when she's playing with her teddies and dolls. I actually bought this through a cashback site as I'm always looking for deals, so it was actually free because I got the cashback for it. I'd definitely recommend this product because it's done above and beyond what it's meant for, more than a teether.

Absolutely love Sophie the giraffe however my little boy has only recently started to take interest in it now he’s 6 months. Tried him with it when he started teething around 4 months and he just kept hitting himself in the face with it as it was too big! It’s also a tad expensive

I found this teething toy to be quite average, it doesn’t really take the edge off the actually teething for my baby she just uses it more as a toy as it has the squeak, I think it is pricey for how basic it is, I see how popular they are though so they clearly work for some babies, but we will be looking for another option

I received this teether as a gift for my first born. Now my third child is using it. It's still in a good condition and does the job although after one wash it doesn't squeak. I was surprised that this teether giraffe has a name and a history and these giraffes come in diferrent shapes.

This teether is good, plenty of parts for baby to chew on. Easy to grip. I feel it is very expensive for what it is though, and it is a shame it isnt washable or able to go in the steriliser. I have had to go out and buy milton wipes to keep it clean, it does also get visibly dirty quickly too.

People rave about this but neither of my daughters cared for it. It's light for them to hold but mine seem to not be able to get the relief from a good bite on it where it's hollow. I don't like that it has a hole which must be harbouring all sorts of germs inside it. It's good that it has a squeaker which sometimes distracts if she is crying but as a teether I think there are better ones out there like the monkey one.

We love our Sophie la Giraffe!! I saw nearly all of my friends purchase one during the teething stages with their little ones and so it was top of our amazon list when the time came! She is really soft on their little gums and her shape means they have smooth and bumpy surfaces to bite down on. My goodness does it cause my daughter to produce a lot of dribble but she seems very happy chomping away! It’s advised to just keep her clean with a wet wipe as any water submersion could cause the squeaker to break, which is probably the only slightly inconvenient thing!

I'll be up front here... we love Sophie. She is the only toy with a name in our house and our son's absolute favourite. I love that you can get Sophie books and the fact this toy has been used for generations. It really helps with teething and our son has been able to comfortably hold her from about 4 months. It's reassuring that the toy it's made from natural rubber and she's holding up better than my fingers against those first sharp little teeth!

This is cute looking for and easy for baby to hold, with plenty of chewy surfaces.
However the squeek that it makes and feel of the rubber reminded me of a dog toy.
The squeek means it has a hole in it meaning dirt and fluids can get inside, but it is very tricky to clean the inside.
It's a nice gift, but not great value for money compared to other teethers.

My son LOVED Sophie The Giraffe for when he was teething, we ended up buying a couple once he chewed his way through the first one. Perfect size for little fingers and very soft on little gums, also great that Sophie is made from natural rubber so you don't have to worry too much when they are chomping on the toy. The design is great for focusing little eyes as babies. The only downside aside from just how expensive it was, was that every baby in our particular baby groups had one so had to put his name on it.

The teether is ok. It’s expensive for what it is and there other teether that are cheaper and just as good. It’s hard to clean as if you get water inside it is trapped and stops the squeeker working properly. The feel of the giraffe is nice and there are lots of areas for baby to chew. I wouldn’t buy again I would select other teether that are on the market.
