It is one of the best things I bought for my baby. And i love the fact that we can use it until our baby can seat on a normal chair.
Because of the range of colours and design you can very easily match it with your dinning furniture.
Very easy to clean.
You don't necessary need the belt for it which I think is very good for baby's safety- in case he chocks you can very quickly remove your child from it.
Highly recommend it.
I wanted a high chair that converts into a chair that grows and adapts with my son; this fits these requirements. I love this chair and my son finds it really comfy too!
Had this since my daughter was a newborn and it had the newborn insert. She is now one and loves sitting in it. It keeps her secure and sitting upright which allows her to sit at the table like we do.
The only thing we found wrong with it is that it was difficult to put together.
Fantastic chair. We own 2 my 9 year old has one and so does the baby. I love how easy they are to clean and adjust. Fabulous design - they are comfortable and very suitable for dining tables. We bought these in the Stokke store with cushions and newborn set which can become very pricey but it was worth it as they worked well. Adjusting the seat is so easy just need to loosen the screws. The 2nd plate under is a great leg rest and as the kids can be level with us at the dining table their legs are still comfortable and not bangling. The newborn set is perfect at eye level for feeding and keeping them engaged. From homework to dinner love this multi adjustable chair. Good value for money.
My daughter has been using this since she started weaning at 5 months and it’s a great product, that is well designed and easy to use. You can move the foot and bottom plate down as baby grows and keeps the well supported and upright. It’s easy to clean and the if you purchase the tray it is was easily removed to clean, without the tray it pushes up to the table quiet nicely. The only drawback is it’s expensive to purchase and so are the accessories.
I love this chair. We've got the newborn seat, and my son sits in it for feeds already at 4 months. He loves sitting in it and watching me cook or tidy in the kitchen - so I can get lots done! I've got the grey chair, and it looks great in our house. Very pleased with it, and looking forward to using it for years to come!
Highly recommended product suitable from newborn. Adapts into a chair for older children. We loved that this product comes right up to the table so children are fully involved in meal times - great for baby led weaning. Easy to clean and very safe.
I’m so happy with my Tripp Trapp high chair. I chose a natural wood finish to match the other chairs around our dining table. It’s really easy to clean and can even be adjusted for an adult to sit on if we have lots of people over! It’s not the cheapest high chair on the market but it’s easily one of the best looking, well made and long lasting.
Designed to last a lifetime, by bringing your child to the table as soon as you want to. From newborn, with the newborn set, or from weaning, with the baby set. Such a variety of colours, something to suit everyone!
We got our first Tripp Trapp 4 years ago when my daughter took a liking to her cousins. We knew when we fell pregnant again we'd need another one so instantly bought one. We now have two pink personalised Tripp Trapps for our girls (6 years and 22 months) which can be used by anyone as they are strong enough in design to last throughout adult good.
After looking at a whole lot of highchairs I finally decided to purchase the Tripp Trapp. First reason was that it’s super easy to clean. Just wipe with no small cracks where food can get stuck. Secondly it grows with my child so can be used for a long time. Third, it can easy tuck under the dining table hence doesn’t take up space when not in use. The downside it’s quite expensive as you have to purchase the baby set, harness, cushion, trays separately which can cost quite a bit - and some of these accessories are required when using the chair with a smaller child.
They say you can use this chair from age 0-99 And that really is true! The basic chair is good quality and easy to assemble. You need to adjust this as your child grows but when adjusted properly, it promotes proper posture.
I’ve used this from birth for which you need to buy the various add ons such as the baby seat and the child seat but these have been invaluable in providing a place for the baby to sit during family meal times. The add ons, covers, harnesses etc can make this quite an expensive chair overall but I think it is a worthy investment as you get a lot of use from them. The chair and accessories are available in various colours/finishes.
You get a long warranty period from the manufacture too which is always reassuring.
Best thing we ever bought.
Changes with your child as they grow.
Easy to keep clean, adjusts easily.
Only down side is it's quite big and cannot be put away like a regular high chair.
We love our high chair and would recommend it to anyone! It is pricey and the bits you need to buy can be expensive! But once you have them they last and are easy to clean! It looks like it belongs in a home too
We have the older style of this with the extra baby back panel. My 2 year old still uses it without the bar as he usual seat as he can climb in and out of it easily. It really is long lasting. Doesn't take up too much room. Easy to wipe down or wash the removable padding.
Very easy to wipe down and can grow with your child

I love this product, my son loves to sit and eat his food and is always sat comfortably. The extra part allows the product to grow with your child. The extras allow you to express your individual style by the large choice of colourful and bright accessories and easily changeable. Easily wipeable which allows you to wipe down very quickly and keep your child’s high chairs hygienic. The price may put people off but I would definitely say that it is worth the extra price.
We love this highchair. It’s pricey but definitely worth it! It changes with your child and currently we have a 3 year old and a 6 month old using it (not at the same time) the kids can eat at the table with us and it’s also good for crafts and painting etc. Wipes clean and it also looks really nice. We never have to tidy it away it just lives at the dining room table. I would definitely get this again and am considering buying another so they don’t have to share. (The 3 year old now uses a bumper seat for dinner when they baby is in the highchair).
Lovely wooden seat, I love we all sit at the table together and don’t have a mindless big plastic lump in the corner like a traditional high chair. It blends with the other furniture too. With all the add ins its grown as my baby/toddler has. And no struggling to clip tray on and off. It’s pricey for a high chair but you can use it for years as a chair for the child as they grow.
Design, small footprint, easy to clean, long-lasting, easy to adapt and assemble

Although expensive, I wouldn’t consider another high chair other than a Tripp Trapp, having used it for almost three years. In fact, it is such a great purchase, I have bought a second one for baby number two (due September). The Tripp Trapp has a seven year warranty, giving you peace of mind, and is so easy to clean, which is one of my major factors when considering a high chair. It does not take up a lot of space and can slide right under our table (even with the tray). It is very comfortable (I’ve sat on it!) and encourages children to sit next to you at mealtimes at the table from birth until they are adults. I absolutely love the design, it’s longevity (high weight limit) and it is very durable; we have the hazy grey and I love that you can see the grain.
The shape of the backrest is great and my son now has great posture when sitting, which I believe the Tripp trapp has helped to achieve! It is a more ethical highchair, given that it is made of wood rather than plastic, and I don’t see it as ‘baby furniture’. Instead, I see it as useful and pleasing to the eye as the rest of our furniture. It is very easy to assemble and adapt as your child grows in height (such as the footrest) and some of the accessories are fantastic, such as the tray, harness and baby seat. Now my son is a toddler, we have taken off the baby seat and tray; he can easily climb onto and get off the highchair himself, which helps to promote his independence. Highly recommend investing in this highchair.
We love this chair and have been using it for the last 4.5 years. It is so great to be able to just adjust the chair to fit our needs. We think that the foot rest makes a huge difference as your little one can sit for much longer than usual high chairs. Really easy to wipe down for cleaning. Just love this chair at this stage our daughter is almost 5 and needs the hight but it is comfy enough an adult could use her chair of needed.
My second little boy is the most adventurous child you can imagine, we bought this because he is slim and was managing to escape all the other chairs we have tried. It is very sturdy and will last us until he is ready for using adult seats so has saved us purchasing a booster for the future.
It is very easy to clean with out too many nucks and crannys for food to hide down.
My eldest was quite a chunky baby and would have struggled getting him in and out.
The high chair came flat packed it was easy to build and it’s easy to move the planks that form the seat and foot plate as the child grows. We had the back of our engraved with our sons name. We have had all the accessories which are bought separately to use the high chair from birth.
We bought this chair second hand when our boy was 1,5 years old. It fits nicely under the table and is very easy to clean. I love that it is made from strong, stylish wood as we prefer to have less and less plastic in our home. My child is included in every meal and I believe we will be using this chair for a very long time as it is great even for older children. I am truly satisfied with this product!
I have no regrets buying this chair!! Once put together it is fantastic. It is modular, so you can keep changing it to suit your lifestyle and needs. It has many attachments you can buy to use, and my baby really likes being able to eat at the table with everyone. An investment but would highly recommend.
Great chair as it grows with the baby and can be adjusted over time. Nice design and comes in many colours.
It is quite pricey, in particular when buying all the extras (baby seat, security belt, cushion etc) but should be seen as a long term investment.
The Stokke Tripp Trapp is a cleverly designed highchair known for revolutionising the children's chair category back in 1972 when it was first launched.
It is made to fit right up to your dining table, allowing baby to learn and develop alongside you.
The smart, adjustable design provides freedom of movement with depth and height adjustable seat and footplates.
When adjusted correctly, your child is assured a comfy and ergonomic seating position at any age.
