I enjoy taking my child for a walk every day in the Wayfarer. Amazing push and controlling with the steering and turning of the wheels. Amazing carry cot/pushchair change over and so easy to do. So happy I purchased this pram. It was the pram I wanted from when I first found out I was pregnant and i got it.

This is my favourite . So easy to use the only weakness is that you have to have adapters to put the car seat on so you have to make sure you keep those with you but it’s not a massive issue at all . It’s so quick and easy to use and not heavy ! Nor is it bulky it fits nicely in my car which is a one series.

I love this pram. It is well built and still looks like great after 6 months of daily use. It looks like it will last for years.
The basket is huge and you can fit tons of shopping in, although it can be difficult to access with the carry cot on top.
The carrycot looks great and the hood with sun visor keeps the sun off baby’s face. The carry cot is comfy and suitable for baby to sleep in, which is helpful when travelling. My daughter used to sleep for hours in it. Downside is that it is quite narrow and short compared to others I’ve seen so my daughter outgrew it at 4.5 months (she is average weight but on 90th percentile for length).
The pram seat has 3 reclines and can be rear or forward facing which is great. One recline goes flat so I was happy to move my daughter into it at 4.5 months when she outgrew the carrycot. We still haven’t used the most upright position as it is pretty much 90 degrees upright and my daughter isn’t able to sit well enough yet. She loves being in the pram seat and with the memory foam insert she looks very comfy.
The chassis is sturdy and can adapt to allow you to put the simplicity or the maxi cosi infant car seat on it (you need to buy additional adapters for the maxi cosi). It is easy to manoeuvre and great for walking around town. Not sure how it would be if you were to go off road. The handle can go to 3 different heights so works if you and your partner are different heights. The pram requires 2 hands to collapse and put back up so can be very difficult to do if you need to hold baby at the same time. You can collapse it with the pram seat facing forward but I find it fits better in the boot if you take it apart. It isn’t the smallest of prams and fills the relatively spacious boot of my car (Kia Ceed). If your car has a smaller boot you can take the wheels off to do that and when we did that we were able to fit it in the smaller boot of my husbands fiesta.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase and despite its weaknesses would definitely buy it again.

Really love this pushchair! Was the one I wanted as soon as I started research in to pushchairs, and it hasn't failed my expectations. The car seat is easy to use and fits easily on to the base. The bassinet is comfy and cosy for baby. It is easy to push and the adjustable handle is a bonus for different family members. Would definitely recommend this pram.

Lovely pushchair that works well on all terrain as my partner found out! Only downside is need 3 hands to unclip car seat from the base and with the world facing seat still attached when folded it will easily fill the boot.

Silver Cross Wayfarer is a solid travel system from birth and can be used alongside the silver cross simplicity car seat to make transition from car to pushchair easier.
The unit is deep and comfortable for little ones with plenty of space as your little one grows.
The travel system comes with a large shopping basket which is great but is difficult to access when using the pram setting.
Folding the pushchair is relativity easy however does not fold full flat and compact unless the chair is facing away from the handle this results in changing the unit around before and after storing the pushchair in the car.
Using the pushchair offers a smooth ride with some suspension wheels can be used on a fixed or swivel basis. The pushchair handles well on soft grass surfaces as well as pavements around town.
Pushchair offers a 5 point safety harness to keep your little one safe and secure when out and about.

I love the wayfarer. I have it in bright yellow and it really stands out. It washes really well. Folds up and down easily and my LG loves being in it. It can be both parent and world facing which will be good when my LG grows.
I love that you can buy new colour packs for this frame as well.

    • Strengths:

Lightweight, compact, folds really small to fit into small car boots.

    • Weaknesses:

The front wheels don't like kerbs.

Absolutely stunning pushchair, lightweight, easy to manoeuvre, fits into small car boots, looks great. Brilliant that you can change the colour pack if you get bored of the one you have. Doesn't take up much room on the bus, as small as a mclaren! Isn't bulky like most pushchairs.
However my little boy grew out of the pram part at 8 weeks old, as he is rather long and chunky, but a lot of babies still fit in it until they're much older. And the front wheels tend to dislike kerbs and turn sideways so you have to lift them over the kerb.

This pram look fab and has everything you want however the lack of suspension and wheel fluidity means it is exceptionally hard to manoeuvrer, especially when already flustered (which many new parents are) and in a rush. Make sure you trial it outside before you buy as oppose to the lovely sleek floors of the store.

I bought the full set as I loved the purple colour. Easy to push and light when baby not in but as baby gets bigger it becomes harder to push and getting up curbs is quite tough. I also think it’s quite bumpy for baby as there’s no suspension.

I bought this product in 2015. I tend to walk most places and am currently using it again for my second baby and therefore have got a lot of use out of it.
Over the past 2 years i have lived on a developing new estate where the roads and paths are yet to be completed and I've struggled to steer and manoeuvre the buggy over this terrain; but even on normal paths I have struggled to go down curbs as it is quite heavy and the front wheels don't seem to be big enough to take the weight.
On the plus side, I love the style and design of the buggy, there are lots of colours to choose from, the handle is sturdy and comfortable to hold, and there is lots of storage space under the buggy. There are lots of different options for sitting the baby to allow for them to grow. We didn't get much use out of the carrycot as I found that both of our babies just wanted to look around after 2-3 months so ended up using the pushchair section earlier than the recommended age of 6 months. This section can be forward and backward facing and can be reclined to 3 levels. I would however have liked a viewing window on the hood so I could see the baby when they're facing forward.
Overall a good buggy but do think about where you will be using it before deciding to buy it.

This pushchair was brought for us as a present. It is the most beautiful pram I’ve seen. With my first child I didn’t get a travel system I thought it would be to heavy and a pain but this is so much easier to use especially as my first is at school and has lots of clubs.

Overall I love my wayfarer pram. I had the travel system so had all the parts. Carry cot is lovely and soft, able to connect the cosytoes easily along with the hood, able to swap over without confusing when changing to the seat unit also. The bottom basket was hard to use with carry cot but perfect with either car seat attached or seat unit. Love the 3 height handle bar good for all height adults. Smooth and easy to push. Lightweight so able to get around and up steps easily.

We brought this product as Silver Cross is a trusted and recommended brand name. The pram came with a bassinet which unfortunately did not last as long as we expected, a car seat which we are still using. Also included was the stroller part which can be used front facing and reversed and can be lay flat and upright. Included with set is a raincover and parts needed to put car seat onto the chassis.

We do a lot of walks and have found that the wheels are not great on gravel or other terrain and the pram bounces quit a bit when not on flat surfaces.

The pram was excellent for value for money however if we had of known we would have brought the Pioneer due to the walking we do.

I love my pram. It’s beautifully designed and easy to manage. I love the bassinet and reluctantly moved my son into the next stage seating for the pram. He enjoys sitting up and looking out, he can be seating facing me or facing outwards. If faced inwards you have to switch it to outwards facing if you want to fold it down for the car.
The pram itself is very durable and not too large. Great basket underneath but be aware that it is difficult to access with the first part bassinet on.
A great pram, would definitely recommend and would buy again.

So far this pram has been very easy to use, steer and it is very small and easy to store at home and once folded easy to get into a small car. The only thing with this pram is has no suspension and is solid wheels instead of blow up ones which i find making the pram a bumpy ride on uneven ground. I would definitely recommend this product to other mothers.
