With my first child this carrier was perfect and both he and I were very comfortable using it, the carrier was easy to use, wear and adjust as he grew. My daughter was however born with a lower limb issue requiring casts and braces and this carrier does not offer the hip support required for babies with these issues.

I love this carrier, the jersey is really soft and even my fashion-conscious partner will out it on. Fully adjustable for parents, we're a foot apart in height!
Baby is snug and secure it's just a shame it only lasts a year (or equivalent weight-we have a chubby one!)

Thai was the second carrier I bough for when my daughter was born, I loved the design, it’s small and compact easy to put on and not very confusion unlike some carriers I have found. Easy converts to a newborn cattier with hook to reduce leg size. I found the carrier very secure for both me & baby. The only issue I have is that the carrier hasn’t got a lower back/hip strap meaning that all the babies weight is pulling on your upper back. This wasn’t great as my lower back would ache not long into walks, this also happened when my husband used the carrier, this made us decide to get a new carrier which was disappointing.

We absolutely love the design & colour. I have tried many carriers on & this is by far the best. Only issue is my little man was born 4 weeks early so is over the 7lb mark but is still very small you can see him very well whilst carrying him in it.

The material is so soft so was great once my premmie baby reached 7lb after a few weeks. Now he wants to look around and cries if put in when awake but for naps its brilliant. ALso good if you want to push a trolley and be handsfree. Brilliant product but will only last up to 1 year I think.

I love this carrier for my little girl. I have tried a few carriers and this by far is the easiest to put on and feels a lot more secure than any of the others I have tried. My baby is also comfortable while in the carrier as she always falls asleep while being carried.

I love our baby bjorn mini. It can used from 7lbs and material is super soft which makes it ideal for newborns. I love the natural colours. It is so easy to use- just two parts, so no faffing to get baby in. The carrier can be used forward facing as baby gets older. There is no waist strap which was good for me as I was recovering from c-section but not ideal if you want to go on super long walks.

I love this carrier we had the original for my daughter 16 years ago and that’s still going. I got this one as it’s lighter and made of a soft stretchy jersey fabric. It’s easy to put on and adjust. It’s the easiest carrier I have tried as I went through 6 that where in the shop with a wriggly 2 week old, that I could do completely by myself. I love how soft the fabric is against baby’s skin and the closeness I have with my baby when carrying.

Loves this carrier for my 6 weeks old baby. I have other baby carriers but I prefer this one for my baby as he’s still young and small. Loves the jersey cotton materials which is soft for him. He always fall asleep when he’s in this carrier as he is so comfortable.

This isn’t the cheapest of baby carriers, however after seeing a friend with hers I instantly knew I needed to purchase one for myself! I’d purchased a material wrap style carrier which I loved the idea of, however putting it on (and baby in!) was much easier said than done! The Baby Bjorn is simple to use and so comfy for my 2 month old, 100% worth the money and you can usually find it on offer too!

We bought this for our second child as I need to be “hands free” to attend to our toddler when baby needs carrying still. We had tried some of the self tie slings but our newborn wouldn’t settle and I found them tricky whereas this has all the comfort of a self tie but is much much more straight forward. The jersey fabric is really soft for tiny babies and also supportive. This is a great sling and we have tried lots!!

Myself and my husband have been using this for the past 4 weeks baby is now 8 l old. Its been a absolute godsend. We've used it around the house on holiday and on quick school and shop runs.
It's really easy to put on it's as simple as a few clicks then your done, it's got a measuring fabric at the bottom which tucks away in its own little pocket. It's easy to adjust the head support once baby is in and it's really easy to get baby in and out without assistance which is needed with a lot of other baby carriers I keep one side clicked in all the time. Once you take baby out its light and doesn't get in the way so you can leave it on without even really noticing. It's easy to store and folds really small I keep it in my baby bag.
It supports baby really well and he is really happy and content once he is in it.
The airflow fabric is definitely that both myself and baby didn't get to hot but it also helps to keep baby warm when it's cold. The first few weeks was it really comfortable and could keep it on all day now he's getting bigger it's is starting to give me back ache after a while I think it will benefit from a bit of lumbar support but that is the only thing I can say to make it better for the price it is amazing and wish I had one with my 4 other children. I have not yet used the bibs as baby doesn't yet seem to have good enough head control to have front facing although we have tried it as he likes to be nosey. We have put them on and they are really easy to do so the instructions are easy to follow I cannot wait to keep on using it for also as long as baby enjoys it.
I love that it's a really simple carrier to use and baby love being in it what more could you ask for. I for sure will be and have done recommending this thank you babybjorn

      Height adjustment a bit confusing

I would like to start the review by saying that the Mini carrier definitely IS ergonomical - baby's back is in c-curve and legs in M shape when in the carrier. BB Mini can be used up to 11kg (24lbs).
I'm impressed by the simple yet clever details. For example, the small instructions' tag is attached to the carrier and has its own little pocket. Also there's a 'ruler' for height adjustment inside the carrier.
The first impression: looks great and is very soft. Also lightweight, fits in my bag and can be taken wherever we go.
Putting on the carrier is quick and easy, I followed the small instruction tag first time around but could probably have figured it out without it as well. Whereas with other carriers I've had to look up videos. Also it's so quick to do and I don't need any help. I usually have one side buckled up at all times. I didn't struggle to put the baby in at all. The buckles are secure but easy to close and open just with a click.
Baby is clearly very comfortable in the carrier as she falls asleep immediately. I love that the jersey material is breathable and the carrier is not very bulky as opposed to the other carriers I've tried. This one is perfect for the hot weather as it doesn't over heat the baby or me. Also there is no need for a baby insert which makes the experience more enjoyable in my opinion. I also like that the material behind the baby's head can be tightened from the sides so it supports her head and helps to keep it in one place. With other carriers the baby's head tends to slide to the sides which isn't very safe and I find myself adjusting the baby all the time.
The straps spread the baby's weight across my back and make my carrying experience comfortable. My little one is almost 6kg and I can carry her around with ease . As it is so lightweight I was worried at first that the baby is not secure in it and instinctively held her back with my hands but after getting used to it a bit more I realised the baby isn't going anywhere. Another pro is that when I take the baby our from the carrier I can leave the carrier on me and it doesn't obstruct me getting on with things.
The price for the carrier is fair compared to others on the market that can be used for newborns. Especially keeping in mind that there is no need to purchase an infant insert or any other additions.
The only con I've experienced so far is that the height adjustment is a bit confusing. Even thought there is a ruler for measurement it's not clear what marking I have to follow.
Overall I've absolutely enjoyed the carrying experience with Babybjörn Mini and it has become my favourite. I've forgotten I have another carrier. It's just so simple to take with me where ever I go and hussle free to put it on. I think it's a great carrier for a newborn and I will certainly be using it a lot & recommending it to friends. Can't wait for my baby to grow and be able to use the carrier facing away from me as well.

    • Strengths:

Very adjustable for best fit, face to face and looking out and really nice fabric.

    • Weaknesses:

Tricky to get baby into the carrier with the long latch, and limited time use birth to 4 months.

I was given this product to test by Conso Baby. I had a 10 week old when the carrier arrived, and we were in the middle of a long heat wave of high temperatures from 30+, so I did not use the carrier that much as it was so warm to wear a carrier and I worried about my baby overheating. Arrived in a nice box and with a bib too.
My baby is now 12 weeks old and about 11 lbs, she was more then 10 lbs when the carrier arrived so I was not able to use the additional leg loops for babies under 10 lbs, I am sure this allows for a tighter fit of the carrier but can not comment on that. I have currently only had my baby in the carrier facing me as she is still tiny but I am sure an older baby would love to be facing outward.
    Pros:
    Very soft and comfy
Wider seat for baby's bottom 10 cm where the regular ones are narrower
    Breathable fabric
Quick and easy to adjust and put baby in and out of carrier
Great way to hold sleeping baby and still have hands free

    Cons:
Tricky to get a wiggly newborn into the carrier
Was not happy with how tight I was able to get the head support, would like to have been able to make it a bit smaller/tighter
It is a bit on the expensive side when you can only use it for about 4 months
    No hood
Only for young babies (wish it worked for longer and that I had gotten it sooner)

I was also sent a Baby Carrier Mini BABYBJORN bib, but have not used it yet as it again is used for facing out not facing parent. Both myself and my husband have used this carrier while walking to the shops and in and around town. It can be a little tricky to hold the baby and be pulling and lifting up the hook to attach the carrier to the cross shoulder harness. It can be a bit tricky if you need to sit down.
Over all great soft cuddly carrier which I will continue to enjoy until my daughter out grows it.

Received the carrier in a good sturdy well presented box. On opening was pleasantly surprised how soft the material felt. I am a larger lady so was worried the harness would not fit, however this isn't a problem as the harness can adjust to a good size. I was extremely grateful for the pictures in the manual to show how everything clipped together. I had it all set up within minutes. I did however find the section to adjust weight and size a little fiddly. As my baby is only 9 weeks old we used parent facing, it was easy to put him in on my own and didn't need any additional help. He felt comfortable and secure and nodded off in seconds. He also has sever reflux and needs to stay upright for an least an hour after feeds which can hinder a day if you need to get things done or go out. The baby carrier has made his so much easier as I can still continue daily life such as cleaning and calling to the shops with out panic of him being sick as soon as he is down. It also takes the stress out of taking a large travel system on shorter journeys and having to mess about folding things up and down and lifting the in and out. I also love the face that it also creates bonding time and feeling close to him. The bibs that fit the carrier are absorbent waterproof and also surprisingly soft and reusable. If i was buying this for myself I would be slightly apprehensive on the price however I do feel it's worth every penny. I have personal felt this has been a little life saver.

    Ahhh I love it!!

I tried this baby carrier with an idea in mind of how it would be as I already have a baby carrier so I felt I had a baseline to rate this product against.

Firstly, I looked at the instructions and it looked very simple to assemble which it was! It was easy to understand and it was only a couple of steps which was very quick. Even on a busy train platform! I could easily swap from front facing to back facing without any problems.

Secondly, I'd like to mention the tape measure feature. I just thought it was a cool and accurate way to adjust the carrier to fit your baby rather than using guesswork or trial and error. You simply adjust the tape measure feature to how tall your little one is and there you to, perfect adjustment!

Thirdly, it has very little ridgid parts to it, meaning it folds down easily and small so it can be stuffed in any bag, even a small one and washed easily in a washing machine!

Perfect even if you have a larger frame. Both my husband and I are not the smallest people in the world. Often products like this are uncomfortable and you cannot adjust them to meet your own frame requirements. This is easy to adjust and fits us! So good news for a small, medium and large builds!

Most importantly, my baby feels safe and secure to me and i'm not worried that he may fall out or anything. He also finds it comfortable. My husband has used it too and found it just as easy as I have! So there is approval from all three of us!

Overall, I haven't found a bad point about this product except it is only for young babies so I think my little man will have grown it of it before I know it! It is so easy and comfortable I just wish I had this carrier sooner!

What a beautiful soft baby carrier. Its so soft and very easy to use. I used this with my newborn baby who is only about 9lb when we used it and she was very well supported and comfortable in it. I found this very easy to put on and off by my self. My husband also found it very comfortable to wear being 6ft 2 and im 5ft tall and it fit both of us well. I found these very useful as a mum of 5 he allowed me to be hands free to go to stay and share at my other children's school. Great value for money.

Description

The Babybjorn Baby Carrier Mini is a small baby carrier that is really easy to use for short babywearing travel.

It’s perfect for the early months when, like all newborns, your baby needs lots of closeness with you. It's so easy to unfasten the entire front section of the baby carrier to lift out your baby when he's asleep.

The soft fabrics gently hug your baby’s back, legs and hips, and provide good support.

You can check your newborn’s position and the natural C-curve of their back with your hands through the fabric.
