The carrier is great for taking baby on outings when the pram is not practical. It can prove difficult to get the baby in and out when you are on your own. Holding your baby and trying to strap them in is awkward

This carrier is very good. The material is of strong quality, is comfortable on your shoulders and is a snug fit for baby. You can forward face or rearward face, straps are easy to adjust and it looks appealing. However, it can be a challenge getting baby in and out as it can be difficult to do on your own without help.

My partners mother bought this for us during an aldi baby sale. At first we were unsure about using this style of carrier and had been keen on the wrap/ sling style. However, on day we decided to venture on a bus journey and wanted something less fussy than a wrap sling and decided to take it for a spin. The carrier distributes weight evenly and feels comfortable to wear! It was easy to put on and slide the baby into. Sometimes it was tricky to take him out of, but that was usually when the baby had fallen asleep. The left connecting piece at the bottom on mine can get a little stuck, so it can take a minute to unclip it. We often use the carrier to take our baby on walks as it sends him straight to sleep, and on lucky days he stays asleep when we are taking him out of it and placing him in his cot! The babybjorn is a cute design, we have the black version, I will wear it and so will my partner. I definitely recommend, but would suggest checking aldi During a baby event as it was only £45 there, rather then the £75 that mothercare charge!

Love this carrier, it is so comfy to wear and little one loves being close to Mumma but seeing the world at the same time.
It's a bit more pricey than other carriers, but its comfy so most certainly worth it!

We bought this as it was on offer and had heard great things about this company. We had tried to use a sling before this carrier and found it ridiculously complicated to put on and baby looked like he was going to suffocate against the wearer's chest!
We tried this from newborn and was really handy for me as I had had a caesarean and it kept the baby away from my scar. LO felt secure in that he didn't feel like he was going to fall out. After a couple of go's I was able to put the baby in quite easily and more importantly on my own. However, no matter how much I tried to tighten it the baby's head was bouncing back and forth against my chest when I walked so I had to either lean back or forward so his head could constantly rest on my chest or the carrier respectively. As he got bigger this was no longer a problem and we were able to have him front and rear facing. Now LO is reaching the maximum requirements of the carrier although is still below and it seems quite tight to slide the clips in now and seems to press too much on his stomach.
Wearing this is useful for being hands free but all of the weight is on your shoulders so makes it difficult to wear for long periods of time.

The Baby Bjorn has to be one of my favourite baby related buys. It took a few weeks before we could use the carrier as our son was early and too small for the smallest setting but he was so used to the material sling from birth that as soon as he was big enough we moved him on to this.
The major plus side over the material slings is the fit and adjustability as well as the extra comfort and support for the wearer.
Both my husband and I can wear the same carrier with no hassle adjusting it to fit each of us. After a few tries you quickly learn how to install you little one even when you are on your own.
The fastening clips are really secure and the top adjustable head guard that folds down can also be adjusted.
Our son didn’t like his arms through the arm holes to start with but it was still fine and really secure to have him in the carrier with his arms tucked in.
For a very reasonable price this carrier looks and feels like it will last for ever!

I bought the baby bjorn original carrier over 16 years ago it was £50 back then which was expensive however it’s the only one I could use myself and that my daughter didn’t cry in. It’s easy to put on, adjusts as baby grows and can be used forward facing when they get bigger. It doesn’t hurt my back as the weight is evenly distributed. I have washed it numerous times and apart from slight fading for its age and being used through 5 kids it’s amaxing.

I this is a great sling, and was perfect from birth. The issues we found were that baby grew out of it too quickly and my husband who is 6ft4 did not find it too comfortable to wear, due to the small size of it. I would recommend just buying the Baby Bjorn One.

This has been a fantastic buy and I have used it alot with my now 5 month old, both out for walks and around the house to get some chores done!
The support is great for my daughters head, and considering i'm 5ft3 it doesn't pull on my back or shoulders at all. My husband who if 6ft equally loves it and finds it very comfortable to use.
It took me a few days to get used to putting it on and off but now I find it very easy and have it on within a matter of seconds. Its easily adjustable and the material is great quality.

I love this one and often choose to wear it over the other carrier I have. My little one seems happier in it and I think this is due to the soft padding and good support. It is good in the facing you position and the facing the world position, I think it does the on my back position, but haven't tried that yet. Quality buckles and straps etc. would recommend!

We’ve had this since my son was about 4 months old, we’ve both absolutely loved it. It’s easy to put on and get baby in and is very secure. Baby can either snuggle into you or face outwards (when old enough with good enough head support). My little boy always seemed really comfy in it. He’s almost 11 months and we’ve just stopped using it because it was too tight for him. The straps easily adjust so that other people can easily use it, really good product.

Luna didn’t like her pushchair or Moses basket when she was a newborn so I resorted to use a carrier so I could get bits done around the house!
It saved me so much to regain some freedom with my hands :)
Definitely recommend as it’s also easy to put on vs the wrap carriers which I wasn’t confident with.

This product has been on the market for ages and for several good reasons. It's versatile, suitable to most body shapes (mum and babies' alike), comfortable and easy to use. I had it for my eldest and greatly missed for my second. I was kindly given a carrier that only allows rear-facing, which is not always ideal. The BabyBjorn allows both positions. It is also quick to wear and take off and gives the baby much more freedom of movement than other competitors. The only weaknesses are, in my opinion, the lesser support once your little one gets heavier and the price. A fave, still.

I was given this carrier to use by a friend. I thought it looked very stylish and was excited to try it out as thought it would make walks so much easier. The carrier straps were well padded and it seemed like it would be comfortable.

I put it on and could not get it to sit in the right position, after much messing around I eventually managed to alter it however as I am short, baby seemed to sit really low down and looked very uncomfortable. It didn’t feel safe at all. Other friends have used it and raved about it however anyone short I have spoken to has experienced the same problems.

Initially i was given a baby carrier which was another brand and I thought the straps were too fiddly so I was delighted when I found this one to be really easy to put on and get baby into. The straps were easily adjusted to tighten and loosen. It’s avtuallt comfortable to wear also, I have used this for many long country walks and even took on some hillwalking. My little on loves to be forward facing and seeing everything as we are walking. It’s also one of those products you can store away and if you won’t get the use out of it again I am sure someone else would. Also machine washable which is ideal.

Comfortable mid price range carrier. Felt a lot more comfortable than others in same price range. Have used from a few weeks old to 6 months so far and still plenty of growing room. My daughter is 6 months old and is 19 15lb and she's fine in it.

I love this carrier it is stable and makes you feel secure while having your little one in it. Lovely an ideal if you are just popping out or fancy a walk, so easy to get baby in and out off without any fuss. Only thing is it gets a bit harder with when they get a bit older, apart from that I would recommend to a friend

I love the babybjorn carrier, its so quick and easy to put on and doesn't put too much strain on my back. Love how u can wear baby facing you when tiny, then turn them round as they get older, my son loves going on his. I think it's great you can get a fleece cover to go over the carrier for colder months but wish it wasn't so pricey, that's the only issue I have with it. Fantastic carrier.

Description

Your baby required a lot of physical contact during the first months.

The Babybjorn Baby Carrier Original is a compact carrier that you can quickly put on and remove to carry your baby for short periods of time, at home or outdoors. If your baby falls asleep, it’s easy and fast to unbuckle the entire baby carrier and lay your baby down. The Baby Carrier Original takes up very little space and can be easily packed in a changing bag or kept beneath the pram.
