My sister in law gave me this for my baby. I found it really useful for around the house if he was abit unsettled and I needed to do stuff, I would put him in this and most of the time he would sleep. I found it hurt my back when he was much bigger and he was forward facing.

Loved this when my baby was small. She’s now 15months and I’ve switched to a different carrier.
Very easy and quick to wear and put baby in or take baby out.

Easy to adjust size too and the fact baby can face either way as they grow is fab. My baby slept in this too very comfortably. I had a coat that fitted round me and baby in the babybjorn so even in rain she was dry and warm n snug.
    Recommend without hesitation.

You can use this from a very early age to comfort your baby when they are having a bad day or if you just want to feel close to them. I found it very secure and easy to use with the only problem being that if you use it for more than one person when adjusting to straps back if you get it wrong it can be rather uncomfortable but when it’s used correctly it’s feel good and very secure.

Used this one many times with my first child when travelling abroad. Its an absolute life safer for planes when need to get in and out and on top of that you have your luggage. I kept it and definitely going to use for my second one.

It is very easy to use and can be used both ways: baby facing parent when smaller and facing outside when getting bigger once able to hold its head.
I found it quite uncomfortable and not easy to adjust in order to feel comfortable - puts some pressure on the back. Would recommend any parent buying a baby carrier to actually test various with their own baby - we made the mistake to buy it when i was still pregnant.

Very easy to use, but I felt my babies were not well supported in this carrier. They never settled and often cried. The carrier itself gives me the most ridiculous back pain ever. I have used many carriers, wraps and slings, so I know my carriers. This would have to be my least favourite of any I have tried.

Love the style and plain design of the babybjorn as I like things to coordinate and have bought all my baby products -pram etc in plain black!
Now that my baby can hold her head well she loves this product and loves looking around when I am out and about!
However when she was younger and was forward facing i found that if she fell asleep her face would push forward and be smothered in my chest! I felt like I was leaning forward in a funny position to get her to lean back!
However overall would buy again for next baby!

Great carrier which is super easy to use and adjust to your baby's growing weight and size. I use mine in the house as well as out and about.
It was also essential when flying as we used it to carry our baby from the plane to baggage reclaim as pushchairs can often take a while to come through.

Have used this baby carrier with both my daughter and niece, it’s been perfect for both of them. I’ve always felt they were safe, secure and supported. The only downside is there isn’t much support for whoever is wearing it so it can be quite uncomfortable if you’ve got a bigger baby in it.

A great carrier to get you started with baby wearing as it’s the original ‘classic’ baby carrier that is available in most stores and many parents share their experiences of it. My partner personally prefers this carrier as it’s easier to adjust and faces both ways so you can gauge what sort of mood your baby is in and position them accordingly.
Personally I use the carrier for small trips to the shops but for longer walks I prefer a carrier which is more supportive of baby’s back and legs, as they seem to ‘dangle’ using this carrier, as opposed to being wrapped more against the wearer’s body.
It’s reasonably prices so a good starting point to see if babywearing is right for you! I’ve tried cheaper carriers and they’re not as supportive as this so I’d recommend it to new parents as a traditional starting place.

I love this baby carrier start using it with my daughter from early stage. She loves sleeping in it. The only downfall is that's too small so you can't really use it for too long and it's not that supportive for your back but you can use it if you go quickly to the shop or around the corner but I wouldn't recommend it using it for too long.

Was perfect until my baby got to 6months (he was a very small baby) once he got bigger I could only have him in it for short periods as there is no back support.
Also when he got bigger if he was wearing a snow suit I would struggle to get him in.

One of the most uncomfortable carriers I have ever tried!
Only good for very short periods of time.
The straps dig into my back and caused back ache after only 30mins of walking.
Not ergonomic and doesn't keep babies hips and legs in the correct position!
    Horrible carrier!

I find this carrier brilliant with my baby when its warmer outside however when you have a snow suit on it can be a little more difficult to do the side clips up around the puffiness of the snow suit. I love the adjustable nature of this carrier as it means that it is easy to fit to your growing baby as they get bigger you just move the base of the carrier, and fold down the head support once they can hold their head themselves. I use this all the time for short trips to the shop making it so much easier to carry my shopping home!

I debated buying a baby sling for a very long time. The price always seemed so expensive and I never knew if I was going to really use the sling that often. But one day I gave in and purchased this particular sling and I’m so glad I did! I’ve used it way more than I ever thought I would as I love having my baby close to me in crowded places and it’s easy just to put on when I want to walk down the shops.
It has several safety features that allows you to feel secure and safe in knowing your baby isn’t going anywhere.

I want to love this baby carrier. When my daughter was first born we used it all the time, for outings and even around the house whilst I got chores done. My daughter loves being carried around either to look around or to sleep so it seemed like the perfect solution. However, every time either I or anyone else wore this carrier they would complain about back and neck ache. My daughter was and is heavy (3.8kg at birth) so maybe that affects the performance of the carrier but there is no weight distribution whatsoever. I would suggest to any parent not to bother with this and to invest in an Ergo Carrier instead.

Your baby required a lot of physical contact during the first months.

The Babybjorn Baby Carrier Original is a compact carrier that you can quickly put on and remove to carry your baby for short periods of time, at home or outdoors. If your baby falls asleep, it’s easy and fast to unbuckle the entire baby carrier and lay your baby down.
