I didn’t have this with my first child and wish I had as I had terrible back problems when he was an older baby and toddler and wanted carrying. With my second the seat enabled me to get on with jobs whilst carrying my baby. Will be on my list of top things to buy 3rd time around!

We used this everyday for the walk to and from the bus stop from approx 18 months to 2 years. My husband found it more comfortable to wear and use than I did so he was the main user, although did complain if he was wearing a belt. It was very useful for a tired toddler and for quick ups and downs.

I used this a few times as my children were coming out of their pushchairs, handy to have, a little unsteady, a clip around the child would be useful just for mum's/dad's reassurance. Great idea and great product, worth a try, no more bony hips and pelvises!

    • Strengths:

      Made carrying a lot easier

    • Weaknesses:

It’s not hands free. When my daughter fell asleep I needed both arms to support her.

I was recommended this by my health visitor. I sustained nerve damage to my spine in pregnancy and struggle with lifting and carrying - this keeps your back in a much better position when carrying a child - win win for me.

The downside was the quality of the zip - the rubber pull cover broke very quickly..
also I found it awkward when my daughter fell asleep whilst being carried and a support strap would have been advantageous.

We love this item and have used it since about 6 months. The k my issue we have is it’s not small, which means as a backup it really isn’t ideal.
  • 3.25/5
    • Strengths:

      Comfortable to wear and secure

    • Weaknesses:

Can slip around if the child is a fidget

It's useful when you have to hold the hand of another child so don't have and extra hand to carry the other child the only thing I've got to fault it is that if the child your carrying is fidgety the belt slips round a bit which is a pain
  • 3.63/5
    • Strengths:

Easier to carry a heavy baby or toddler

    • Weaknesses:

. It's quite bulky around your middle

Much easier to carry a baby or toddler short distances. It's quite bulky around the middle though so it isn't comfy to keep on when sitting down.
So if you're out for a walk and stop for a quick coffee you have to take it on and off which is a bit annoying. I'd use it more around the house too if it was more comfortable to wear.
