We love our maxi cosi cabrofix, Love that it is compatible with our nuna pram system and most other pram systems. Our LO is comfortable in it and we love that it has a pull out hood that secures into place with 2 little hepls on the carry handle and if not in use can tuck away into the back of the seat.

Perfect size for newborns with head hugger and wedge and then take that out for the perfect seat for 6 months olds good is fantastic as it doesn’t fall down like most others. Not too heavy and works perfectly with the isofix base for an easy life. - Strengths:

Great car seat when accompanied with the isofix base. It makes life so much easier especially in the rain. It eliminates any hassle and messing around with seat belts. The head support hugs baby’s head well and feels snug. The wedge is removable to allow extra room for little one whilst still using the head support which I found perfect for my son as he’s a big baby but still like the support. Without the isofix base though. I didn’t feel it fitted well or felt as secure as other 0+ car seats I’ve used. The only other downfall for me is the size. It doesn’t seem very big so I can’t imagine he will be in it fir as long as suggested age.

Love this car seat. It is really sturdy and easy to use. It’s also comfortable for your little one as comes with an insert. It’s nice you can get it in other colours too. I did find the material hood a little flimsy and would’ve been nice if the water proof hood came with it and not as an extra.

I used this product with my baby from birth until 8 months although I am sure it would last most babies longer as my child is big for his age and was beginning to look uncomfortable in it so I reluctantly moved him to a bigger car seat. I was delighted with this car seat, my child seemed very comfortable and cosy in it from birth. It was great to be able to lift in and out of the car using the isofix although sometimes I found it a bit awkward to release the isofix but with a bit of practice got the hang of it. As with all car seats it is a bit bulky and heavy to carry but ok for nipping in and out to the car. I got the adapters to fit onto my I candy wheels which was great for running into the shop or a short walk so I wasn’t constantly having to lift my baby in and out of different seats or buggies. I would highly recommend this product and found that it was well worth the money for the amount of use we got out of it. - Strengths:

Would highly recommend the maxi cosi to anyone. I find it lightweight and easy to use. Had come in particularly helpful for swimming lessons, where the twins can be dressed, put in their car seats then are nice and snug whilst myself and hubby change. Easy to fit onto our iCandy as well. Integrated sun canopy is great :) -

I really love this car seat and also have the isofix to go with it makes the car seat so easy to our in and out if the car. I know my child is safe in this car seat and she's happy to be in there for a long journey. Easy to take apart to wash too. Wanted a car seat that I could clip on my buggy and this one fits with the correct adapters. - Strengths:

It’s good care seat to take your baby out off hospital in easy to take in and out off car when you have a fixed base would off liked to take all cover off to wash but don’t tell u how and the the straps keep turning but easy enough to turn back from the back other than that I would use again. - Strengths:

I loved this car seat for my little boy, so easy to use.
Simple to do the adjustments as baby grew.
Washable which was so easy to take covers on and off.
Was a little bit heavy to carry but easy to put onto pram when out and about for short periods.

I got this car seat in a bundle with my pushchair, I couldn't believe how light the whole chair is so amazing, had a job finding the hood (had to google it) but once found and out fully it's perfect, more so for summer time and just a light thin material so does let all the wind through, but otherwise a clean looking and easy to lug around even with child in. - Strengths:

It’s good and sturdy. It does the job.
The insert made my baby look uncomfortable as I felt like her top half was sinking. You need two hands to push the sun protector down. Same with releasing it from the pram (used adapters). - Strengths:

We brought this car seat as part of a bundle with the Orb pram from Mothercare. The car seat is really easy to use in the car, especially with the isofix. We felt that we could trust the car seat as it was Mothercare and a reliable brand. We brought adapters so I can use the car seat on the pram which is a life saver. When my daughter learnt to sit up, she wants to all the time so the car seat works well on the pram. Its great when out shopping as it limits her irritation of getting in and out of the seat. I really like this car seat and I'm sad that she will grow out if it soon so we'll have to upgrade. The only weakness is that it doesn't come with a rain cover, you have to pay it separately. The pictures include the Lamaze Activity Pram Spiral which was a Christmas present and doesn't come with the seat.

Very good car seat. We had to change our travel system when my done was 5 months old, I was expecting to have to buy a new car seat but we didn't have to. This car seat is very adaptable. It's better with an ISO-fix base but it can be used and is very secure without one. -

I took my baby home from the hospital in this car seat (with newborn insert), in a lovely red colour, he’s now nearly 1 and still using it (although he is getting a bit long for it so will soon have to change). It’s been perfect for us. Easy to use and easy to take in and out of the car and attach to the travel system. The only annoying this is that you need two hands to move the carry handle which is sometimes not practice. The sun canopy also comes in handy for my very pale baby, although it was difficult to find at first. My baby finds the seat very cozy and often falls asleep in it, however, on warmer days his head can get very sweaty when it is resting against the warning sticker in the inside.

Good, trusted car seat. My daughter was 6 weeks premature - I felt confident that she was comfortable & safe with the newborn insert although she was on the small side. She is now 7 months old & we still use the car seat day in day out. Easy to use & aesthetically pleasing. - Strengths:

Description
The lightweight Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix infant carrier is suitable from birth to 13 kg and is compatible with Maxi-Cosi and Quinny pushchairs to form the perfect travel system.
This car seat features enhanced Side Protection System and a soft chushioned seat with newborn seat reducer.
Practical belt hooks will assist in keeping the harness out of your way when placing your child in the seat. A one-pull harness adjustment ensures that it is set at the right tension. As your baby grows, the harness and headhugger can be altered so that it is always positioned correctly.
The CabrioFix installation is very easy with Maxi-Cosi's range of click-and-go base units or it can also be installed using the car's three-point seat belt.
When used in conjunction with Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix Base a light and sound indicator will notify you of its correct installation.
The car seat can also be adjusted into a unique upward position so older babies have more legroom. As a result, you can use the seat for longer in the rearward facing position which is the safest way for younger children to travel.
