From day 1 my son looked so comfy in his cabriofix car seat. It was easy to use and quite light to carry, even with baby in it! The newborn wedge and insert is great, it kept my son in a great position at all times. The covers come off for easy cleaning, which is a bonus. It seems to be quite a big seat too, my son lasted in it until he was 15 months and he’s a big boy! I would definitely recommend this seat to anyone that was looking as it combines great value for money and the importance of child car seat safety. - Strengths:

Generally good value for money and efficiently made. Did find releasing car seat from pram travel system a little awkward and the buttons of the handle can get a bit sticky when in Isofix base but for the price it is robust and not too heavy to carry. - Strengths:

This is a good safe car seat which supports the newborns heads and keeps them sturdy.. easy to fasten into a car.. the only problem i find are they are actually quite heavy without a baby in.. this is hard for me as ive c sections with all my children so its painful n heavy. -

Love this, with the newborn inserts too baby is well supported right from the beginning. However with my baby being on the bigger side I had to remove the insert quite early, he missed the head hugger as he wasn't quite steady enough on his own but because it is one piece lifting their bum forward too I had to take it out.
It's not the easiest to carry with baby in but I haven't found one that is.

Great car seat. My son has always been comfortable in it. The newborn insert wedge was great as it was a better position for him when he was first born. This was also easy to use when he no longer needed it. Would definitely recommend this product. - Strengths:

Overall this is a good car seat, my son is happy in it and has been since birth. He is 6 months now and still fits in it (I took the sponge out of the bottom so he has more room).
It wasn't easy getting the seat out of the base at first, but now I have done it a few times its easier.

Love my cabriofix, compatible with so many different pushchairs and so easy to use. I love the design on my limited edition model and often get comments on the style. Lightweight and still fits my daughter now she’s nearly 1.

This is a great car seat, it's good value for money and cam be used with 2 different isofix bases.
It looks so comfy and can be used from birth. The only downside is my son had outgrown it by around 10months.
Car seat adapters can be purchased so that it can be fixed on to different pushchairs.

I have had 2 of these car seats i cant rate them enough, light weight easy to use sturdy and comfortable, the newborn insert can be used with the wedge when tiny and without once bigger, i feel my little one is comfy and safe when in it. - Strengths:

This is a good car seat which seems to be comfortable for my little one. However, the design can make it a little tricky to use. I use this car seat in conjunction with the Maxi-cosi pram and the placement of the buttons to remove the chair off the pram means that you have to push down and pull up at the same time. This is somewhat tricky, especially as your baby gets heavier. The newborn insert is a great addition for smaller babies. - Strengths:

This product I brought twice, only reason being is my first one was in a car accident: easy to use wipe clean but can also come off and go straight into the washing machine. Great value for money. Only bad side is that you need to buy the rain cover attachment for extra. - Strengths:

Being a twin mummy I was looking for something easy to use, not too heavy, something that could fit onto my pram and value for money as I had to buy two of everything. This product completely fits that brief. Used with the isofix base I simply clip and un-clip the seats to get them in and out the car. I can then either carry the boys into the house (as this seat was one of the lightest I found) or clip them on to my pram. The boys are always comfortable, especially with the newborn insert, and always fall asleep the minute they get in their car seats. They always look really secure and safe which has made me feel reassured taking them in the car, they were only 5lb when born so did look lost to begin with but the straps fitted round them perfectly and kept them nice and secure. For value for money and ease of use these seats were exactly what we were looking for.

I have used the maxi cosi cabriofix with both my children and love it! I would highly recommend. It's safe, easy to use and easy to clean. I am also using the isofix base that you buy separate which is a lifesaver! - Strengths:

The isofix base was really easy to install with the green light system to ensure it was fitted correctly. As first time parents this little function was really reassuring. The seat itself isn’t very comfy, I had to purchase a car seat cushion insert for my daughter as she refused to relax in it when she was younger.
As my daughter gets bigger it is getting harder putting my daughter in and out of the seat. I’ve sometimes bumped her head. If I were to purchase another seat, I would definitely look for a swivel seat.

This car seat was fantastic. Was the only seat we have brought for my daughter. With my son we went through a couple. This seat clicks straight onto our pushchair with the adapters which aren't expensive. It's easy to use and has a good colour choice. Description
The lightweight Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix infant carrier is suitable from birth to 13 kg and is compatible with Maxi-Cosi and Quinny pushchairs to form the perfect travel system.
This car seat features enhanced Side Protection System and a soft chushioned seat with newborn seat reducer.
Practical belt hooks will assist in keeping the harness out of your way when placing your child in the seat. A one-pull harness adjustment ensures that it is set at the right tension. As your baby grows, the harness and headhugger can be altered so that it is always positioned correctly.
The CabrioFix installation is very easy with Maxi-Cosi's range of click-and-go base units or it can also be installed using the car's three-point seat belt.
When used in conjunction with Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix Base a light and sound indicator will notify you of its correct installation.
The car seat can also be adjusted into a unique upward position so older babies have more legroom. As a result, you can use the seat for longer in the rearward facing position which is the safest way for younger children to travel.
