I was given this monitor before the birth of my son. It has allowed my husband and I to sleep without worry, something we didn’t think we would get after starting life in the Neonatal unit. Setting up the unit is straightforward, just make sure the wires aren’t able to swing and plug into the baby unit. When the sensor mat is switched on a green light flashes every time your baby moves. This is reflected on both the parent and baby unit. If it does not detect movement for 20 seconds an alarm will sound, and it definitely wakes you! Just remember to switch it off when removing baby from cot! It allows us the peace of mind that if our little one should stop breathing we would be able to help, and the alarm often shocks the little one to start breathing again. The sound on the parent unit is crystal clear, I can even hear birds chirping outside on it. There are differing levels of sound and sensitivity so you can find what is right for you. An absolute necessity for any new parent.

I have used this with both my kids, we used the sensor mat in their cribs which were amazing and very reassuring! And the monitor it’s self still gets used even with an older baby! Can be turn up very loud which is good and also the flashing lights are very reassuring for the mat (when your not in the room)!
Love it would recommend to anyone!

Good monitor. Can hear baby clear and the mat under the mattress is added reassurance. Just the display on the babies end that shows the bedroom temp stopped working but still shows on the parents monitor.

Great 2 in 1 monitor that can be used with the sensor pad or as a normal audio baby monitor.
Sensor pad gives peace of mind that your little one is breathing and sleeping peacefully. But if your baby is a wriggler like mine then you quickly get used to the sound of the alarm as it sounds every time they shuffle around their crib.
As baby gets older and need for the sensor pad is no longer needed, you can turn the pad off and use the monitor as a standard audio monitor.
It picks up any change in movement or noise within the room so your aware of the first sign of your baby stirring. Handy as they get older and you can quickly run up to put their dummy back in before they completely wake up.
The parent unit offers two way talk, which my other half and I use more as a walkie talkie to request the other one to bring more nappies down etc. I imagine as baby gets older this function will come in handy to reassure your child that “mummy’s coming”.
With my eldest our baby monitor played music and lullabies which this unit doesn’t offer but I have found that these aren’t actually needed. My daughter settles quicker and sleeps much more soundly than my son ever did, not sure if this has any link to lullabies being played.
It’s great value for money, I would definitely recommend this product.

I loved to use this baby monitor, it is good, the motion sensor checks the movements and if the baby do not move it makes a sound. You can take the device with you and check on the baby, when u do something else like cooking. It gives a good visual and also sound.

i bought this mat before my little one was born as it was a monitor with a sensor mat that would alarm if the baby stopped breathing. the mat sensitivity can be adjusted and put under the mattress in a cot. i have used this for months and it has worked when it was needed. the monitor has a talk button and tells the temperature in the room. this monitor meant i was able to go downstairs and leave my baby asleep in bed. the battery in the remote can run down quite quick but i always put mine on the charger stand every night.

We have had two of these because they are so good! After about 5 years our first one stopped working properly but was still usable.....you just couldn't see anything on the screen. The second one is still going strong even though the battery doesn't seem to last hours it does last at least 2-3 without needing to put it back on the dock. Not a problem since it still works on the dock! Better price than angelcare and better quality.

I have used this in both personal and working environment. Perfect for piece of mind when baby is asleep in a different room to you. Only down side is that this can be over sensitive and can go off for no reason when baby isn’t in the cot.

I was very excited to use this monitor however i am quite disappointed, the video is great and clear however it times out very quickly on the screen unless its plugged in at the mains. The sound also times out quite quickly and doesn't always come on when there's noise being made. The movement sensor has caused me many panic attacks by going off when my baby is perfectly fine. I feel its quite expensive for what it is and quite disappointed as i really needed the comfort of a good monitor.

When buying this I had high hopes for it.

Using the sensor pad was the worst thing ever! Within 2 hours our sensor pad had gone off 7 times this caused me to run to my child thinking something was wrong and waking her. This made for endless sleepless nights which weren’t needed because my child was fine just a still sleeper. Also the alarm that goes off on the parent control you do end up sleeping through as it doesn’t go off for very long so I spent most nights in a light sleep and losing a lot of sleep.

So glad we bought this monitor. Wouldn't be without it now as it gives me such reassurance that our daughter is okay at night. Love the inbuilt night light which you have 3 brightness settings on. Sound quality is great. Sensor mat offers the constant reassure that baby is breathing and okay. Something that is not provided by standard audio baby monitors. Best baby product we have bought! Instructions for mat installation are very easy to understand.

We first bought this product when we were expecting our first baby (born in 2014) we were a little sceptical as to whether it would actually work but we used it from day 1 until when my son was moved into a single bed. Even then we continued to use the monitor just not the sensor pad. We then purchased another when my second was born in 2017. The monitor etc was all working perfectly so would have been able to use the same if it wasn't for the wires which seem to break easily if you travel with it.
Since 2014 they seem to have added extra with plastic casing to hide the wires which is a great idea however would he good if the trailing wire came out of the bottom of the socket rather than the top. Overall an amazing purchase and we wouldn't be without!

It's the perfect monitor. It doesn't let constant noise through. Just when the baby cries, which is great.
The breathing mat is a god send, really put my mind at ease. I am a massive worry when it comes down to his breathing at night time.

A cheaper version of the monitor with the camera. I found it was a valuable addition to the nursery.
The sensor mat could probably do with being larger to cover a bigger area of the cot and the battery doesn't hold a lot of charge but I do like this brand of monitor.

This baby monitor has honestly saved my sanity so much as someone with anxiety the peace of mind that it would sound off if it doesn't detect moment or breathing. It comes with a portable tommee tippee hand held monitor which beeps to baby's breathing rate. It will sound off too if it's main alarm goes off. The main sensor pad slips under a normal child sized mattress and it's range is incredible. Don't let the sensor pad get wet (juice etc) under the mattress as it does collect bacteria if not careful however that's rare!
All in all I'd recommend this to any parent who's looking for a monitor to keep an eye out .the monitor includes a built in Mic and speaker so you can talk to baby if needs be. It's truly kept my mind at ease through some nights

These have been ok for us, the microphone is rather exposed at the back and as a resulting the plastic has split and the cables are visible. Quite expensive for what you get. Never used the movement sensor pad as it wasn't very reliable. However good quality sound and very good quality materials used. It has been reliable even with my toddler throwing the portable handset.
