I used this with my first son. It’s worked at first until they changed the formula!! There was nothing wrong with the original formula!! The new formula never mixed properly causes my baby to get sick.
We started off with this milk as it was a well known brand. However, baby struggled to wind at the beginning and this milk did not help as it is incredibly frothy. There is so much foam that sometimes I can't even see if there's any milk left in the bottle. Also very expensive
Hottified to find bettle insects making there was around thr powder inside the box beetles also lay eggs which contaminated the milk everyone be aware. This is my first box I have found them in. Always search and be sure. Discusting
Easy to prepare like all other formulas in powder form
Not too keen on the grainy texture once mixed as per the box instructions
Easy to prepare
Easy to digest
I chose to use this powder formula as I was already using the mini premade bottles with the sterile teats by Aptamil to combi-feed my daughter so didn’t want to upset her stomach by changing brand unnecessarily. I persevered for a week until it has almost run out before changing brand as I wasn’t satisfied it was best for my baby. She bought a lot of her milk back up after most feeds, it didn’t mix well and left a grainy residue on the sides of all bottles even after preparing each feed exactly as the box said to which I’d never experienced before with my eldest son that had SMA as a baby. I also thought it had quite an unpleasant smell. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this formula, it surprises me that I was so disappointed with it as it’s one of the more expensive Stage 1 milks on the market
Before the change I would have rated the milk higher, however since the change we have found that the milk does clump more and therefore gets stuck in the teat . The recommendation is to ‘shake vigorously’ - it does occasionally also have to be shaken during the feed usually resulting in a very angry baby!
However the milk is easy to make, and reasonably priced therefore we have stuck to the brand.
I wanted to use aptamil as I’d seen the ads on tv saying closest to breastmilk but I’m unsure how I feel about the product I find it doesn’t mix very well bits get stuck in the teat even after shaking bottle for 5-10 mins. Formula gets stuck to the leveller quite messy and stick. I’ve also noticed the milk clumps around my baby’s mouth she’s on aptamil once a day and a special milk the rest and that milk doesn’t clump/curdle around her mouth.
I found that my little one would take this milk, but it made him sickly and very windy. The milk when being made was very messy and wasted a lot of powder compared to other brands we have tried. Overall this product wasn’t for us.
The only milk my baby taken to had no problems with it what so ever heard lodes of bad reviews e.g milk curdle but I've not had anything like that it's always been 100℅ for me and my son loves it and he brings his wind up so easy on this milk to when one had him on others
I had started to stock up on this milk before my little girl was born. Just before she was born I had seen a lot of mixed reviews about the new formula. My health visitor told me to stick with it as it is the milk she always recommends. I'm glad I did as personally we had no problems with it. My little girl has fed on this from about 4 weeks and she loves it.
I started the aptamil to my daughter when she was two weeks old and she easily takes it and she likes it a lot she never have any problems with this milk , this is the best milk and would recommend to parents to want to start formula milk . Really good
My baby likes this milk we using new formula and there is no any problems with that. He is feeding very well. Little bit price but if baby likes I don't mind about price
From different formula he was sick and then we changed to aptamil witch is brilliant
So.. I’m currently still managing to get the old formula from Aldi! But I’m very very worried about changing to the new recipe.. they reviews have not been great!
Currently my little man is doing really well on this and loves it!
Little bit pricey and has the usual stench of formula
Easy to prepare
Easy to digest
I used this formula for the one bottle I fed my baby at night, the rest I breastfeed so I'm not sure what it's like when used all day and night, but my daughter took to it really well both breast and bottle. She was never sick from the milk and didn't suffer from excessive wind from it either. It lasted us a while but as I say we were only using one bottles worth a day. Overpriced just like most formula and has the bad smell like the rest of them but overall really impressed and have been told by multiple health professionals that it's the closest thing to breast milk compared to other formula.
Used this since birth after recommended by a friend. It’s available in most stores, easy to measure each scoop and my baby seems to enjoy it. They have just changed the formula; however I had stocked up on old formula so not tried new one yet....I am a little concerned about trying new formula after reports it was making babies sick.
Both my babies fed great on this, never suffered colic, never struggled to get wind up or digest.

I have used this for my now 6 year old and now my 15 week old. I have always swore by Aptamil as personally I feel they are the most trusted brand. My 15 week old however got caught it the brand changing formulation and with the bad press I worried a little how it might affect him. As I trusted the brand enough I continued with Aptamil (new formulation) as my baby is doing great, can't seem to get enough of it. He is growing fine, feeding well, bringing up wind fantastically and also digesting regularly. I will always use this brand and product and will continue to recommend it.
Our life saver. Had problems with my milk supply so needed a formula milk. My little girl had no problems after drinking Aptamil one, jowever when she was 3 months old she has got a rush so doctor advised to use Aptamil pepti.
