We bought this car seat for my son with the isofix base - both parts came to around £400 so it is quite pricey but it’s very safe and comfy - my son is always falling asleep in it and his head doesn’t fall forward like in some other car seats.Read more
It’s very easy to fit, the isofix base has lights that go green when it’s fitted properly and it beeps at you if anything’s not right.
The only downside would be how bulky it is, it’s a bit of a pain to transfer between cars but we don’t change the seat around that much so it’s not a problem. - Strengths:

I have this car seat for my Nissan Qashqai and it fits in perfectly. We have the 2 way base/2way pearl and I feel like my son is safe and secure in his seat.
It’s easy to take the seat apart for cleaning
Only downside is we had to buy a belted seat for other family members cars as they didn’t have isofix. - Strengths:

We LOVE this car seat. We have used it for our disabled child. It has a very good recline on it compared to others for our child's age. Love the fact that it comes on an isofix base so when I have nipped to the shops I can keep my daughter in it and put her in the trolley like I would do with the group 0 seat, it just needs a bit of a handle or something to grip at the back to make it easier to carry when doing this. - Strengths:

Bought it for my one year old. He is much happier when in the car now. Used rear facing position in the beginning, but quite soon changed to front facing. Baby feels comfortable if falls asleep as it has 3 recline positions. Doesn’t recline fully, but more than enough. Overall really happy with a purchase. - Strengths:

We absolutely love this car seat. My son can see out of the window of our seat Leon which is a bonus for us. He sits comfortably and it reclines which makes having a nap so comfortable. 10/10.

Brilliant product, we used the maxi cosi carbrofix car seat and easy fix base when baby was born so it was an easy progression onto the pearl which clips in the same base. Straight forward to alter as baby grows and our little ones definitely found it comfy enough to sleep in on car journeys. - Strengths:

Lovely and roomy for my nearly 3 year old, adjustable headrest which moves straps too. Easy to take apart and wash covers, always comes up sparkly clean. Occasionally clasps have torn little ones clothes when removing her from the seat with is disappointing but now I extend as much as possible and this doesn’t happen as much.

We got this as a follow on from the cabriofix. Its very high in the ratings for safety. It’s easy to fit on the family fix isofix base and sits up/lays back easily. My son went in it from 10months but is on the skinny side so we have to really make sure the straps are as tight as possible and it didn’t fit in the early days so had to keep him in his Grade 0+ longer despite being the recommended height and weight. He’s now 28 months and still skinny so requires super tight straps which does press on the shoulders a fair bit but with the headrest adjusted up we get a comfy fit. Covers are easy to remove/replace when washing and I doubt our son will be able to undo the button for a long while yet.Read more - Strengths:

Once my first born was big enough I transitioned him from the starter maxi cosy into this one and the transition was seem less. The cosy cover and seat position helped my little one be comfy as well as being protected and feeling safe. Which of course was a weight off my mind too.Read more
The fabric can be washed in the washing machine which for a mucky toddler who likes to snack in the car it was a lifesaver.
The only issue is that you can’t wash the straps but a damp cloth soon sorted then out.
You need to ensure that your car is compatible with the maxi cosy. You’ll be fine if your car is fairly new however I know my mama didn’t which was an issue if she wanted to use her car to her him anyway. That’s defiantly something to look into prior to purchasing - Strengths:

I bought this because our son was out growing the pebble. It is a fantastic car seat, the straps fit tight to our son meaning you can tip the chair upside down and they won't fall out. (Don't attempt this unless you are positive the straps won't come lose), the only issue i have is that sometimes it is a struggle to loosen the straps because they are so tight.

My little boy looks so comfy in this car seat. He has has it since 16 months & he is now 4 years (just hitting the weight limit). The chair has been great and still looks new! All of the chair is well made and is sturdy. The only minor downfall to this chair is that it is really hard to get the fabrics off to clean. Luckily I've only had to wash it twice (I avoid doing it where possible for this reason!). Another small downfall is that when my son has been in friends or families cars, who havent had isofix they havent been able to use this seat. I've had to always have a spare incase. It would be good if the seat could be used with either the seat belt or isofix for this reason.Read more

After a lot of review checking and looking we decided on the pearl confetti. For safety aspects this car seat is perfect! From the moment I put my DD in the seat I was happy, she looked secure and I had instant peace of mind. It was easily to clean by removing cover and padding... The only issue I found that others may have a problem with was if my DD was not as petite as she was then we would have definitely had a problem with how snug it would have felt. But it did last the right amount of time for us and we were really happy with our purchase.Read more

My only issue with this seat is that the buckle is sharp. I have ripped a few bits of clothing on it getting my daughter out in a rush. I sometimes struggle to get it really tight also. It can also be faffy if you need to swap cars and only have 1 base as you need a base.
