This worked really well at settling my baby to sleep when he was only 18 days old during a photoshoot. I had been trying for such a long time to settle him back to sleep, but rocking, feeding etc wouldn't work. With the sound for this product he was settled and sleeping in no time! It worked so well in getting him to sleep for his photos (which looked amazing!). Thumbs up for this product!

I was sent this to test and review and it hasnt disappoints!
The munchkin shhh was packaged well and included the required battries.
The shhh is smaller than I thought it would be but that said it's a perfect size to take away with you or move easily to another room we often took it with us to grandparents to help with nap times. It has a cord on so you can hang it up, I took this off to start with and stood it at the top of the cot but after a week moved to the door handle. It has a flat bottom so could be sat a shelf or side.
It's a modern looking design that is white and blue, would be great if they came in neutral colours. I found the white rubber would attract any kind of dust or fluff.
The shhh is loud and clear and you can adjust the sound volume, There's three sounds, a heartbeat, white noise or a shhhing noise. These can be set to stay on for 10, 20 or 30 minutes. Most the time I found by 20 mins my little man had fallen asleep so I set to 30minutes so he had that extra time to properly settled we used all the sounds but found the shhhing sound worked everytime with him. I even found myself laid listening to it many of times .
The light has two settings continuously or slowly flashes which made a perfect night light, you can have the light on with out the sound and vicverser.
I found that the buttons were a little hard to turn on in the dark maybe would have been better if they were more raised or were lighted .
I'd also say these are marked at a great price.
Overall this is a great product and I'd recommend to anyone who has an unsettled baby, its helped my little boy self settle and gave me a break from walking my stairs several times.

The shushing track on this is amazing. It was so affective on my little boy, within minutes he was sound asleep.
The only downside id that it's so difficult to change the batteries. There's about 3 different screws just to get into the thing. Although that being said I suppose it's impossible for babies and small children to get hold of the batteries.

I was surprised by the size of the machine, I was expecting it to be bigger than it is but the size makes it super easy to take with you. It comes with batteries which is very handy although putting the batteries in is a pain. You have to unscrew the base which didn’t bother me but you then have to use a very small screwdriver to unscrew the battery compartment that I don’t think most people would have (I only had the right one because my partner use to be a mechanic so has lots of tools). Prior to using this we used an old iPhone connected to a juice bar to play white noise which would be playing for about two hours & sometimes we’d have to put it back on after the two hours to keep her asleep. With the shhh machine she falls asleep within the half hour & stays asleep. It has three settings - shh, white noise & heartbeat. We predominantly use the shh as it’s the one she prefers. It also has a light setting, you can have it pulsing to the sound it’s making or on constantly. The buttons are a little difficult to use in the dark but it’s not a huge issue & doesn’t bother me enough to stop using it. I would highly recommend this item as it has helped make bedtime a lot easier for us.

This has 3 different noises. I found my baby likes the sshhhing one best and it does help to get him off to sleep.

I didn’t like that you can’t see or feel where the on button is in the dark which when wanting to turn it back on to settle baby in the middle of the night isn’t very helpful.

Very portable and can be stood on a unit or hung by the cord from a door handle for example.

On the whole a good product for the money and it did help my baby sleep.

Initially i was surprised at the size of the item, it was smaller than expected (approximately the size of a small baby bottle), this struck me as bonus as the product is highly portable. The packaging was a bit of a pain to actually get to the product however it did come with batteries which was really convenient. Unfortunately putting the batteries in was quite fiddly as you need to unscrew the bottom half of the item bottom then unscrew another compartment for batteries to go in to.
The item plays three sounds, a shushing sound (which my husband said was a bit creepy and sounded like darth vader), initially this sounded harsh to my ears so i kept he volume fairly low. It also plays white noise and the heartbeat. As my little on usually falls asleep on my chest after breastfeeding i used the heartbeat sound. At the time i was struggling to settle him to sleep in the day (he's fine at nights). I didnt notice a huge difference and he was still drifting off to sleep but waking as soon as i put him down but eventually i did put him down whilst still awake but drowsy and went to the other room and he woke up as soon as the timer ended! I then tried the shh sound instead to save my breath as i often shush him to comfort him and this was GREAT and really handy in comforting him but not having to continuously maintain shushing for a long period until he fell asleep. The timer is also great as once he has fallen asleep i twist it to 30 mins to keep time and i either stay in the room or keep hold of him until the timer stops so i can be confident he is in deep sleep (hoping i can reduce this to 10 mins eventually). He also sleeps longer now which i presume might be due to the fact that i wait until he is deep sleep before retreating!

The night light is not very bright and doesnt even light up the product sufficiently to see the buttons but i tend to use it as a close range torch if needed. One huge flaw of the product is that you cannot see the buttons in the dark, if it was easier to see or feel the buttons. The timer is easy enough to use by twisting the product.

I really like this product. The sound is a little robotic but my Son really love it! He really enjoys the “shh” and heartbeat settings. The light pulsing is a nice fature and gives him something to look at in the dark. It’s a shame the buttons are not glow in the dark or raised more. As the buttons are flat they are hard to find in the dark and I did put the wrong functions on a few times because of this. It would be nice if the sound was slightly quieter too as when the house is quiet at night it is quite loud. It’s great to move around for it has batteries and is lightweight. We used it on our night away and in the car!

We absolutely love this little machine! We had previously been using our phones for white noise which is not only inconvenient but not great to have near to your baby's head either. We love that you can choose how long it stays on for, and that there are different volume levels. It looks great and the material it's made from is soft and has no hard edges making it safe to leave near your baby. The only thing that we find slightly frustrating is that in the middle of the night when we're ready to put baby back into bed it's difficult to find the right controls as they are indented rather than raised and therefore hard to differentiate from each other. Also, I would like the sound controls to be on a switch or the noise to turn on using the same sound as you last had it on maybe as I find the shhhh noise quite abrasive, but we need to go through that to get to the white noise sound that we prefer. All in all a really wonderful product though and we really love it.

Overall I did like this product. At first glance the product is a lot smaller than i thought it would be. The product is also battery operated.
When it first went on my daughter was curious about it and kept trying to sit up to stare at it. As the heartbeat continued my daughter fell asleep (only took about 15 minutes). The noises are loud and clear too There's three choices; a heartbeat, white noise or a shushing noise. The light can also change to being on continuously or glowing. So it can make a perfect night light. There's also the option to have just the light or just the noise.
There's also a timer present so I can decide if I want it on for 10, 20 or 30 minutes. Personally, I would have preferred the option of having the light and noise on until I wanted to turn it off.

Perfect product which id definitely recommend because it combines a night light with a sound soother. Helpes my baby to drift off instantly and even made me feel sleepy. Really loved the white noise sounds and not so keeb of the heartbeat as my baby is 5 months old but the heartbeat would be great for newborns

I got to trial this for Conso and I wanted to give the most honest review possible. OMG I’m absolutely in love with it! Up until I got it I was using my iPad to play lullaby’s etc of a night for my little girl but then I received this! Not only does it play lots of different tunes and various volumes, it also has a handy light onto so you don’t have to turn on a proper light and wake bubba up!
My little girl will no longer sleep without it and if it was to break I’d have to buy a new one! I highly recommend this to any parent for a blissful nights sleep (even when they are still in with you)! Also the added bonus it’s not annoying enough to keep you awake! Win / Win! Amazing invention! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

This is a wonderful product it works very well and the response I got from my daughter with it was just brilliant, I wasn't keen on the shhh sound but my daughter liked listening to it and the light wasn't to bright either. We’ve received this to review and have been using it for a few weeks now. My daughter used to struggle to self soothe but can now settle her back to sleep when I turn this on. I have used it in the car as she was fussy and she fell asleep within 5 minutes. The ssshh sound is really good and sounds real and it’s my daughter’s favourite, she also likes the heartbeat sound. The light is very useful at night, bright enough to see but not so bright that it wakes others. I only wish the timer could be a little longer. My daughter is 6 months and I imagine this would be a lifesaver with a newborn.

We received this to test a few weeks ago and it has taken some time but my daughter now sleeps well with this. The ssh helps her to settle and calm down even though initially I think the noise startled her a little. The white noise is excellent for helping her to sleep. It’s small, light and compact although the buttons can be hard to find in the dark. It would be good if it had a sensor to detect movement or had the option to stay on longer than 30 minutes.

I received this sound machine to test, I have given it just over a week to make sure my review is accurate. This product is really good. It has really helped me when putting my baby to sleep as she likes to be shushed. The shush sound it brilliant. I haven’t overly used the other 2 as the shush works for my baby. The soft light is great too and the machine has 3 time settings 10/20/30 minutes which I thought was amazing (other sound machines I have tried do not have that). I would definitely recommend this product, the price is reasonable, the machine really works and the design is great. Would be nice if it came in other colours rather than just blue but it’s not a big deal at all. I think he machine would be better if the buttons on it were a bit more raised as it’s hard to see in the dark if baby wakes up in the middle of the night. All in all a great product and a life saver during the night, when you can find the right buttons.

I got this about 2 weeks ago and it’s great. I had tried some white noise videos on my phone but they didn’t seem to help.
This has 3 noises, white noise, shhhing and womb noise. I love the shhhing as it means I don’t have to keep shhhing my baby while rocking the Moses basket. It can be set to go off at 10 mins, 20 mins or 30 mins. It has a volume button so you can turn it up or down to suit your need. It also has a nice little night light that doesn’t disturb baby.

This has really helped me a lot recently, I’ve found my baby goes to sleep a lot quicker since using this. It’s a great size and is really easy to use. I’ve yet to use it while in the car but I think it will work just as good as it does in the Moses basket.

    Highly recommend this

This product was received to test and I really liked the design and packaging when it arrived.
It includes 2AA Batteries but not sure how long they will last.
The product has a light and a timer which is great for our room and if we travel with this. It would be great to take on holiday and as it’s compact would be easy to transport.
The Shhh function is different but my baby seemed to like it and kept him quiet and helped him to settle to sleep. The white noise and heartbeat sound are also good and useful for settling my little boy those didn’t send him to sleep
I really like this and would recommend especially to soothe or settle your baby.

The machine is a lot smaller than i expected but it makes it easier to carry around with you. The main body is made of a soft plastic/silicone material and therefore it is baby friendly if they get hold of it (although it tells you to keep it out of baby's reach). All buttons are built into the unit (therefore nothing is sticking out) there are 3 sound options: human voice saying shhh (which is very realistic but there are long pauses inbetween the shhhs so startling when it starts again), constant white noise and human heartbeat sound. There are 2 light options: soft fade in and out, & constant. You can also increase & decrease the volume. There are also 3 auto shut off time limits:10, 20 and 30 mins, these can be selected by twisting the blue base.
I found the unit very baby friendly as it is soft and smooth with nothing sticking out, batteries are secured into the units under 2 layers, each secured with screws. The main USP, I believe, is that it had the most realistic shhh sound human sound that I have ever heard from a toy/gadget, unfortunately I found that each shhh had such a long pauses that it was a little startling when it started up again. Surprisingly my son preferred the human heartbeat to the shhhhh. It helped him settle during short car journeys, and it was very useful tucked into the pram hood, this allowed me to go to the hairdressers as the shhh machine drowned out external sounds (see photo).
The soft light (which is a bonus) is actually quite captivating for babies, the soft fade is not too bright, as it is lit through the body, and is very soothing.
I'm rather sceptical when it comes to all these new gadgets/machine, especially when we've managed to live without them....however this unit is so we'll thought out and designed that I believe it will be a must have item.

The overall look of this product is very sleek with modern lines. It would although benefit if it came in a more neutral colour to fit in with the current home trends.
It is a lovely small size and lightweight with a handy cord loop to hang on a travel cot or pushchair.
It is very easy to use and very intuitive. It comes with 3 different sounds, my DD settled best with the second sound of constant white noise. I found the 30min setting best as it took a while for my little one to fall asleep and if she wasn't totally in deep sleep she would wake as soon as the sound stopped. The sound control would also benefit if it faded out rather than abruptly stop. The timer also will restart if you change the sound setting half way through. The light is very convenient for the night time feeds and nappy changes... That is if you can find the buttons in the dark and don't incidently turn the sound on at full volume and it all go horribly wrong!
Does it work?! Sometimes. It would be on my DD terms only. She would have to be ready and sometimes it would be just a calming device and didn't necessarily aid her to sleep. It was useful for the unsettling colic evenings.

All my children have had some sort of night time soother. Some seem super loud though so finding the right one is hard. This is super simple and the heartbeat setting is a clear winner. Soothing even to me! Auto shut off after 30 mins is perfect for getting baby to sleep (and me) plus its night light also, not a garish one but a soothing warm light. Its so small its perfect to travel so if your child becomes reliant there is no worries about taking this gem with you everywhere.

This is a lovely little product and great if you are struggling to get your baby settled. It is nice and compact and has a great curved egg type shape so doesn't look out of place in the nursery. The top is made of a white soft rubber and the bottom (blue) part plastic.
There is a volume button with quite a few settings to get it just right for your baby, there are three sounds you can have which are shhhhh, white noise and also the sound of a heartbeat. Personally our baby liked the heartbeat sound and wasn't too keen on the shhhhh.
The night light feature is an added bonus, you can either have it gently glowing on and off or as a static light. The light is a soft glow and isn't too bright but enough for you to be able to see if your doing a night feed/change.
You can also leave this on without worrying about turning it off as it has a timer of 10mins, 15mins, and 30mins.
It also comes with a looped string attached that you can hang off the crib, or even a pushchair so you can take it out and about without worrying about losing it.
I have used this since getting it out of the box and comes with us out and about. Our baby seems to enjoy it and it does help to calm him. Glad that we now have this, it seems like a product you never knew you needed until you have it!

Apon first inspection of the sound machine, I found the material to be a really nice material, it’s like a silicone material so is easy to wipe clean. I tried it out as soon as LO was due her nap, she was fussy and whining. I found the shush sound to be quiet intimidating and she got scared of it. Although no problems with the white noise and the heartbeat. I think the nicest sound is the white noise it settled her fairly fast. It’s a small compact machine to easy to carry around along with the hand strap. The night light is an amazing little feature considering LO hates the dark. I find the pulsation option to be the nicest as she watches it and eventually falls asleep. I’m going to use the sounds for naps only and the night light for bedtime because LO didn’t settle at night with the sounds. It also has a cute timer of 10,20,30 minutes. Over all I think this product is definitely worth its price and is a handy little gadget to help sooth unhappy babies.
