Ewan is a great little toy comforter, I like the soft heartbeat sounds and my 5 week old baby seems to like it too. The red glow is nice but we've since turned it off as we didn't want it to disturb him at night. It's so handy you can actually tie ewan to things so it's out of the way/out of reach but near baby so he can see it. It's aldi a nice soft cuddly toy too, it's not an eye sore and looks complete in a cot. Very happy and would recommend ewan!

We got this item as our second son was struggling to sleep anywhere that wasn't on me! We found that the womb sound was the best one for him and when it was on it soothed him and sent him to sleep fairly quickly. He was mesmerised by the red glow and the tempo of the beat was relaxing (even worked on me and my husband!) We decided not to use the cry sensor as it was draining batteries and was very sensitive so we just start it as we out him to bed and then leave my son in his crib listening to and watching Ewan and he goes off to sleep very quickly. We also start it during the night if my son stirs and he soon nods back off. Great item, just wish we'd found this when we had our first son as it would have helped him so much too!

We bought this for my now five month old (the purple legged one) and everything was going great for a few weeks until something went wrong with it, it would go off after just one second and stop playing and not lighting up. We got in touch with the manufacturer who were brilliant and gave use a voucher to exchange it at the shop we bought it from (Argos) for the deluxe sheep (the grey one) which has been fine since apart from the fact that it eats batteries quite quickly compared and the buttons are no long in the feet but in the belly which when upside down my little one has no trouble stamping on and turning the thing off - I wish the buttons were in its feet like the purple one. In the end I don’t fully understand the hype with this product, when you can just play white noise etc sounds on your phone instead - it’s just not cuddly and doesn’t have a red glowing light - but that’s just Me.

Bought this product for my son who wouldn’t sleep in his cot. It’s fantastic at helping keep your baby asleep. The only downside is the battery life. I would highly recommend this to parents needing sleep.

Bought before baby was born, up until about 4 months our son just liked to watch the glow but it was most effective as a sleep aid after about 4 months old. We used regularly after this and seemed to be a real comfort to him, used on the white noise or music options. Battery life was not good but there is an option to switch off the light which helped. Son is now nearly four and quite attached to the sheep as a toy but unfortunately the music option no longer works. We did however get three good years of use out of ewan and will buy another for our daughter due in a few months.

The sound and light really comforted our newborn. The selection of sounds were good.
Only complaint is it seemed to go through lots of batteries. Sound would go rather creepy when battery was low

Ewan the sheep is a really useful product to help baby go to sleep in their crib.
Our baby would often wake in the night and we would switch Ewan on (the little red glow and the white noise) and baby would instantly go back to sleep.
There are several options of different white noise and you can have the light on or off.
I would highly recommend this product to new parents!

I loved the idea of Ewan the sheep so bought my baby the deluxe version which sensors when baby cries and comes on automatically. There are several different noise options which are good. However my baby just has not taken to it. And I have seen no difference in Ewan helping my child settle/sleep at night. Therefore I would not buy this again in future. It is expensive to be used as a teddy. Shame as it is cute and I do like the red glow it gives at night.

We love Ewan the dream sheep. We have the deluxe version which turns on if your baby disturbs or starts to cry which is very handy. She soon settles when he comes back on. The little night light in his tummy is brilliant to. Such a great buy.

Ewan the dream sheep is absolutely fantastic. My baby is usually a very good sleeper but has recently fallen ill with a cold and has been losing lots of sleep, becoming quite disturbed and upset during the night so I thought I would try Ewan. All I can say is this is one of the best products I have ever bought for my baby. As soon as I introduced Ewan to my baby she was out like a light, no fussing, fast asleep. The design is excellent; fluffy material, cute, can be machine washed if needed. Safety features are the best; batteries located inside Ewan's belly for extra reassurance. The features are amazing; velcro strap to fasten to baby's cot, different range of noises, a nightlight. I have the deluxe version which has a cry sensor on so when baby fusses or cries Ewan automatically turns on for 4 hours and sends baby back to sleep, this is a very worthwhile feature as Ewan looks after your baby's sleep so you can get some rest too!! I would recommend this to every parent even if baby is a good sleeper!!

Ewan the dream sheep has been one of the best baby items we have had and we wouldn’t be without him! A friend gave us the original Ewan when our daughter was a few weeks old and she took to it straight away. It quickly settles her back to sleep if she wakes in the night, she seems to find the womb/heartbeat sound very comforting and will turn her head towards it when she hears it. The only downsides to this product are that it goes through batteries quickly (we now use rechargeables), you need to click the button on the leg for it to go off and it will automatically stop after 20 minutes. We eventually bought the deluxe version with sound sensor and it is better in some ways, for example the sensor is great if I’m not with her and it’s machine washable unlike the original. However, the noise is not quite the same and doesn’t seem to be quite as effective and sending her back to sleep (this could just be our daughter or the fact that she’s used to the noise of the original. Now she’s older she cuddles the deluxe but we still have the original on her cot bed for when she goes to bed and in case she wakes in the night and doesn’t self-settle. I can’t comment on the light as we’ve never used it on either version. I would definitely recommend this sleep aid to any new parents.

I bought this for my baby who has colic and reflux and sometimes is in discomfort especially at night. This has solves her sleeping problems and sleeps soundly now. When she stirs it automatically comes on and is quite sensitive to sounds. My only downside is that it could have been a cuter design

Firstly, we got this before our daughter was born and played the sounds close to my tummy. Not sure if this did anything, but our daughter took straight to Ewan, from birth and she loves him! If she stirs in the night, usually one tap of the left front foot will take her back to sleep. The sheep is lovely and cuddley with a good range of sounds. Though, like all others have said, this sheep eats batteries like they're going out of fashion! We bought a battery charger and re-chargeable batteries for the sole purpose of keeping Ewan going. So would recommend doing the same so you're never without him!

Ewan was a gift and a blessing! The whitenoise really settled my little one from the start and he still uses Ewan now. Each leg plays a different sound so you can easily find one that suits your child best. The only thing i would say negatively about Ewan is that it only plays in 20 minute cycles, so if your baby isn't quite asleep after the first cycle or wakes up when it stops unless they are in deep sleep, you have to keep starting it up again. However, great value for money and makes a lovely and extremely useful gift for new parents.

We’ve used this product since the birth of my baby and still use it nightly now and my daughter is six months. The sheep is easy to use and each foot plays different sounds, including womb noises and a melodic lullaby. There is also a light but we haven't found the need for this much. I must admit we were initially sceptical but we now absolutely love this sheep and use it to help Imogen go to sleep and drop straight back off if she stirs in the night. Really effective and a great tool to aid sleep!

Ewan has been a life saver! He settles our baby really well with the rain/heartbeat option ( he didn’t work for our niece though so depends on baby). There’s a switch inside to alter the volume etc. It goes off by itself after about 20 minutes so you don’t need to worry about switching it off. Velcro’s to our bedside crib so out of baby’s way. Only downside is that we have to change the batteries every month which seems a lot especially as we only put it on once or twice a day.

Ewan is a dream worker in our house.
We had the original when my son was little and he never really took to it. But this time round for my daughter we upgraded to the deluxe with built in cry sensor and I cannot tell you how brilliant it is.

With 4 different noises to sooth there should be one for everyone.
My LG loves the heart beat.
It’s soothing and relaxing and the soft red light makes a great night light.
I love the way you can change the settings of volume and you can turn on and off the cry sensor. If the baby stirs in the night Ewan will come to your rescue and automatically detect the cry and turn on.

This is a brilliant buy and worth a try, it may not work for all But it did and still continues to work for us.

Runs off of batteries , but I buy rechargeable batteries and make sure I turn it off in the day.
