I was gifted a few of these as my baby shares the name of the sheep. Although I like it I was a tad disappointed that there’s only four noises and only one of those is musical. A traditional white noise machine that I own has 20+ noises so I tend to use that more even though it doesn’t look as good as Ewan. It makes a lovely gift and I’ve tried using it as part of our nighttime routine but seems to make little difference to how quickly he settles...or doesn’t!

My little girl could not sleep without Ewan, she has had it since birth. I like the fact it has different options and it plays for a long time. It feels very secure and safe on her cot and I would recommend it to anyone

Ewen the Dream Sheep is a very well-known sleep-aid product. I was sure it would assist us with getting Rex into a nap routine. However, for us it didn't work. Rex didn't take to any of the sounds. They would distract him from sleeping, he would wake up and several times he actually cried until it was switched off.

It was a real shame that it didn't work for us, but unfortunately was one of those things. Great quality product though.

I was really looking forward to using Ewan as the reviews were amazing. The quality is amazing and I love the design. The sounds are soothing and you can choose from heartbeat, white noise or lullaby and also a red light which isn’t too bright. I’m not sure why it didn’t settle my daughter but it just didn’t which is the main use of the sheep

Was sceptical about this, but I am in love! My baby loves ewan and his soothing light. He falls asleep quickly to the sounds he has to offer. If your baby is fussy, I would definitely reccomend.

We bought a ewan the dream sheep for our third child. When we got it home and took it out to have a look we were impressed by how soft it was. We liked that you could attach it to the cot without straps or clips just a small velcro loop is enough. The different sounds is great and the soothing red glow is spot on. The downside we found was it eats batteries like no tomorrow. We were going through a pack of aaa's twice a week. We recently had to bin our ewan as the cables for 2 of the sounds had completely come out of the battery/sound compartment

I believed this was the 'must have' product for a new baby - mimics the sound of the womb, comforts, aids sleep etc. Unfortunately it didn't work for us and some of the features were unreliable.
I purchased the Ewan deluxe with automatic restart function which is supposed to turn the sound on again if baby stirs. I found that this did not work all of the time and even clapping or shouting loudly did not have any effect.
The product is very well made, soft and of quality materials. The choice of sounds is excellent and the glowing heartbeat is comforting.
Unfortunately I wouldn't buy again due to the fact it didn't work for us and we had to replace the batteries so frequently which was quite expensive.

If your thinking of buying a ewan, do it. You won't regret it, he's a super sheep. We have used him every night to get my son to sleep since birth, going from the heartbeat/womb sounds as a newborn to the calming harp music as he grew older. I couldn't be without the sheep now, he's one of my sons favourite bedtime toys.
We had a small issue with the feet stopping working and I contacted their customer services, they sent us out a brand new sheep free of charge. This was lovely of them, they didn't ask for the old one back like most companies would either, which is great because my son is very attached to 'broken ewan'. I recommend these sheep to all of my pregnant friends or family and I am looking at purchasing the newer deluxe model for my daughter when she is born later this year.

This is a god send! It’s a good price, about the same as other brands that do the same. I really like the cute she design and it’s very soft so little one can have a cwtch with it as well. As my little one is a bit small for toys in his cot I love that I can use the Velcro tail to attach it to his cot. It has four different sounds and I love that I can automatically set it to start when it hears my little one cry or moan. This saves me having to keep turning it on in the night. I like the red glow as this is soothing for both mummy and baby.

I bought into the whole dream sheep theory, but in reality it didn’t work for us so has ended up being a cute expensive teddy. I dunno if it would have worked for us if I had got him used to it and played it repeatedly every sleeptime ie sleep trained him to it.

I cannot tell people enough how amazing this little sheep is! The design is gorgeous and soft and the light is lovely and helpful late at night when seeing to my little girl. Turning the sound on is really easy which is brilliant again for in the middle of the night. I love it and I’m so glad that I decided to purchase this. It helps my daughter sleep so well so it does an amazing job!

My daughter loves her Euan Deluxe, it's been part of her sleep routine since day one and definately helps her settle. It took me a while to realise that was why she was settling better at bedtime than for her daytime naps downstairs without it.

Generally I wake up before my daughter cries at the moment as she is next to me, so the cry sensor doesn't get much use, but I think it could be a very useful feature in the future.

We don't tend to use the pink light function at the moment as she is too young to have toys in her cot so wouldn't see the light, might be more useful when she is older if she likes a night light.

We recieved ewan deluxe as a gift for our little one. She loves her Ewan and we can't go anywhere without him. Ewan has 4 sound settings and two volume levels. We have the updated deluxe version which has a cry sensor which can be toggled on and off easily. When our little one stirs through the night Ewan will start up. The soft pink glow and the womb and heartbeat combo work a treat at settling our little one. The device inside can be removed so as Ewan can be washed. The one down side to Ewan is he eats up batteries. We have 8 rechargeable batteries on rotation due to his battery consumption as he always seems to run out when we need him most. Otherwise would recommend this product as it really helped our little one and brings her great comfort.

Ewan the sheep looks child friendly and plays white noise sound to baby. However our baby is 4 month old and had to put new batteries in 3 times! Useful on a night and has a night light too. Plays 4 different noises and light can be turned off

I love this product. I have used it since George was born and he is nearly 5 month now and has it every night to go to sleep. It has 4 settings, lullaby, white noise, heartbeat and the other is a sound that babies hear in the womb. George Will happily lie in his cot and Ewan sends him to sleep within a few minutes. Brilliant product and would definitely recommend.

Like I said, unpopular opinion but he just didn’t work for us! We were so shocked after reading up on it! We were recommended by a friend whilst being pregnant and where so eager to get one we where on waiting lists as they where out of stock! We were so happy when we finally received it and played with it before the baby arrived and where so impressed... we tried when baby was first born and the night light feature would distract him and then he would go back to crying so we thought maybe too young so kept trying. He is now 6 months and Ewan features in his cot but just really to play with now. We wonder whether (and I don’t mean to brag) but baby has slept through since we bought him home so maybe he is just not part of his routine enough because we didn’t feel we needed to use him. But very sweet and soft and lovely design.

I had a lot of trouble putting my son down without him waking up shortly afterwards, he was always in my arms! One particularly fussy day I started hoovering and he fell asleep and stayed asleep. This led to friends recommending Ewan due to the different white noises he provides and it is the best thing I have ever bought. Not only does Ewan help keep my little one asleep but I am also able to put him down awake, put the Hoover noise on and my little one will fall asleep by himself! Ewan has been a perfect sleep aid for my little one. For me personally I find the 20 minutes timer great as it's long enough for the baby to fall into a deep sleep but doesn't keep me up. My little one also enjoys the light Ewan gives off and will happily watch it as he drifts off to sleep. Ewan does run through batteries very quickly especially if you use him for every nap time so I would also recommends using rechargeable batteries... and keep them handy!

I was bought Ewan for a baby shower gift, I personally wouldn't have paid £30 for it myself. But now I know how good it is I would definitely recommend it! My little girl has used it since birth. Would settle her to sleep so quickly, with the heart beat but now She loves the lullaby, it lasts about 20 minutes which is a good time as she's got older ( 6 months now) I need to play it twice and she's asleep. Battery life lasts me about 5-7 days.

After struggling to get my baby to sleep, we researched and came across a few products, we tried a few, which didn’t work and then came across Ewan. Wow. I’m so glad we did. The first night we tried Ewan, she fell asleep within 5 minutes! The heartbeat setting sent her to sleep instantly. With 4 settings, which I can only believe to be; heartbeat, womb sounds, a Hoover? And then a lullaby. To begin with the lullaby setting kept cutting out, but on inspection my partner noticed that the wire was loose and that soon got fixed. My little girl loves all of the settings, the heartbeat the most. Ewan does eat a lot of batteries, & I mean a lot. Taking 3 x AAA at a time - that lasted about 5 days. However, we do have it on quite a lot. Would I recommend Ewan? - definitely!! Especially if you want a good nights sleep.

Really impressed with this product, it was deffinetly part of helping our little one sleep through. It's easy to turn on and off, the sound stays on for around 20 mins which is long enough, the white noise is great as it's combined with a heartbeat, proved really soothing for the little one.
    Would highly recommend this product.

This is the most amazing item!! My son loves his Ewan, we had to take him everywhere.
He first had him aged 3 months and it was the first purchase he ever seemed interested in, his little eyes lit up when he saw it and he got so excited while trying to unpack it. He used to every night as a baby and toddler and if you woke up in the night I put it on and he went straight back to sleep. We even took it on holiday and if we're out for the day.
    Best £30 I ever spent....
