I use Ewan the sheep most nights, it’s nice and soothing and seems to relax my baby. It also helps me get to sleep after a busy day!

My baby suffers badly with colic and struggles to settle. As soon as Ewan’s switched on she calms. Not had a problem with batteries as others have.

We had Ewan from when my daughter was a few days old and she really loved the lullaby setting. To the point she still nods off to this! It’s sounds are soft and soothing and the red glow is not bright enough to wake her but enough to settle her. My cons are when she was little the 20 minute timer isn’t enough and could do with a remote or longer setting to keep him going on those particularly testing nights. Ours also got subjected to a projectile sick moment and the battery rusted internally with no support from the Ewan team.

We got Ewan as a present when Fern arrived and boy does she love it. All my friends had used him with their little ones and rated him. He even sends us to sleep with his little glow and heartbeat sound. I definitely recommend from newborn

We had this as a gift when our daughter was born. She was preterm and was poorley in the first 4 weeks with an allergy and we found it really helped settle her. She’s 6 months now and still helps her calm down!

I was gifted Ewan the Dream Sheep when my little boy was born. I was excited to try it as we never tried anything like this which our little girl and at 2 years old still needs me to get her to sleep and doesn't sleep through. I heard a lot of amazing reviews of Ewan so was excited to try it. My little boy does seem to like the sounds - mainly the womb sound and the lullaby and will eventually drift off to sleep listening to it. I'd love to try the deluxe version so it would turn on when he cried in the night. I also like the fact that the deluxe version can be washed whereas the original can't due to the battery back. This could be an issue when my baby is older and it ends up covered in dribble and possibly baby sick!

It's a nice product to have but hasn't done much to help sleep. Some times it will help to send my little one back off to sleep when stirring but I need to be woken up to start it. I wouldn't say it gets her to sleep when she's awake though. I never use the red light as it keeps her awake. Main down side is the amount of batteries you go through as they drain very quickly

I love this product and have used it since me son was more. We still use it for my now 14 month as it helps soothe and calm him at bedtime especially if he’s having trouble sleeping with teething.

Sleepless nights, so we looked for Ewan, did lots of research online and came across Ewan, it works perfectly. The heartbeat one is the best and the vacuum sound also works for my little boy. It helps him settle off on his own and if he wakes in night we put dummy back in and turn Ewan on and he drops back off to sleep!!!.

I got this as a gift when my baby was born. It has 4 different sound modes and a velcro strap which came in handy when out and about. I could fasten Ewan to the pram/car seat etc.

The heartbeat sound did get him to sleep and he liked to look at the red glow of Ewan’s chest. I found when the noise stopped (after 20 minutes) he would wake up. Therefore I had to keep pressing for it to start again - not convenient.

A big disadvantage of Ewan is that you are only able to wash him by hand. So after a couple of months he’s looking quite tired and dirty.

I would recommend buying rechargeable batteries otherwise this could end up being another expense.

Well Ewan, we now love you!!

We were bought this as a gift as my sister had previously used with her baby and he really liked it as a newborn. However, our baby did not at the start and it actually upset her more. We tried all the sounds, the light on and off and it just didn’t settle her, so for a good 4 months Ewan was cast aside. It wasn’t until we started putting her in her own room that Ewan became part of her bath, bottle and bed routine in which we were very thankful for. We put the soothing lullaby on when feeding her a bottle and she goes straight off, if she wakes up in the night we click the little foot and it starts all over and she drifts back off again. The other sounds we haven’t used too much as she wasn’t keen on them but the lullaby is really great and could sometimes send me off to sleep. I only wish that the lovely little dream sleep would go on for a bit longer as sometimes it takes her a little longer to settle but other than that it’s a great buy. The price is good if you use all the sounds and the light but if you just use one sound like us, you could probably do with another sleep remedy.

Bought Ewan and it’s honestly one of the best things I’ve got for baby.

20 minute cycles of 4 different noises.
White noise, heartbeat, heartbeat & white noise together & lullaby with heartbeat.

Soothes my little one so easy, you can adjust the volume and if you would like the light on or off.

I would definitely recommend and would buy another.

This little sheep is literally the best thing since sliced bread. I bought it for my daughter when she was born, and was not disappointed. The soothing sounds comforted her and quickly helped her settle. There are 2 volume options, and you can choose if you want the red light on/off. I found the batteries lasted longer with it off. My daughter is 18 months and she still uses it every night and at nap times. Worth it’s weight in gold!

I purchased this at about 3am when trawling the internet for ways to help my newborn settle. After reading many other reviews it quickly got purchased without second thought in my sleepy state. When it arrived I was sceptical but oh my days did it work. My baby particularly seemed to like the heartbeat noises. We never put it on the music setting just the womb and heartbeat noises and it really did make a difference to settle my baby to sleep. For the first 3/4 months Ewan was a necessity at bedtimes!

I’m not a fan of this product. It’s loud, the sounds are invasive and, I can’t be sure, but the red hooves when it’s on seemed to frighten my child. I thought it looked quite evil in the dark. I won’t be using it in the future.

When I had my first child I had seen Ewan at a baby event so bought this straight away for him. We used this instantly and it very quickly became part of the bedtime routine. This product is a fantastic concept, is made well and my son reacted well to it and it was very soothing, mummy also enjoyed it and sent her to sleep too! The product is easy to use and as my son got older and began to self soothe he would often click the leg which was a lullaby to help get him back to sleep. The only negative is after 18 months it suddenly packed up so had to buy another one! I’ve just had another child and didn’t hesitate in buying him his very own trusty Ewan. Great product!

Love Ewan! We play the lullaby and our son goes right to sleep. When he was a newborn he loved the womb sounds but we’ve progressed now to the lullaby. We’ve all grew to love Ewan!

The problems with this older version is you cannot wash him, and he doesn’t have a cry senser, but I believe the newer version does.

The batteries last quite well, too!

    ?
Sooo Ewan... Amazing reviews although I still was a bit (very) sceptical. Never the less we took the plunge! (eventually)
I've been trying to get my 6 week LG into her next to me crib (she doesn't like her moses basket) but she'd only stay settled for just over half an hour night /day.
2 nights ago we introduced Ewan.
The first night I was really just going to see what happened and thought she'd still only settle for half hour or so but to my amazement, she slept in her crib until 4am (even got up for a feed and settled back) and would probably have settled back in it again apart from I hadn't slept brilliantly as kept checking she was ok, not too hot /cold, and hadn't managed to pull the blanket out.

Night 2... Slept from 10:30 - 6:30! Up for feeds and nappy changes but settled back quickly and calmly!
Oh and mummy slept much better too!

Ewan... If you keep this up then you can stay! ?

Maybe we are a bit early to get so hopeful but having two nights of instant success certainly gives hope indeed! ?

    After 3 nights...

We L <3 V E Ewan the sheep! ? 3 nights.. Some say maybe coincidence (maybe it is...) but we've tried her in her crib every day and she wouldn't settle.
We introduced Ewan and she is very content!
We've since put her in the crib without Ewan and she doesn't settle again...
    Personally I rather like Ewan!
Now at 10 months old and Ewan is still playing his part!

Although highly priced, this dream sheep worked a treat for me! It’s Velcro strap meant it could be moved between his cot, Moses and even car seat. I’ve recommended it to all mummies to be.

I bought this yesterday and to try it out, i put my son in his cot to see if he would go to sleep. Normally i have to rock him to sleep and sit for about 20 minutes before putting him down. After putting him down yesterday evening, he was asleep within 15 minutes. Then when he woke at 3am, i turned it on and again after a while, he drifted back off to sleep. This was with the heartbeat sound. I was a bit suspicious at first but I’m now glad i bought it.

We love ewan in our house! When baby was first born she didn’t like sleeping in silence. As soon as we bought Ewan she slept 4 hours solid as only a few days old. Her favourite sound is the womb noises, and she loves the red glow. I think it really helped that womb to world transition.

In the tear filled milk delirium of the toddler’s fourth night on earth we made the desperate and hopeful decision to spend a seemingly extortionate amount of money on Ewan the Dream Sheep. Although I can’t claim that Ewan suddenly made her sleep through the night and allow us all to emerge refreshed after 12 hours uninterrupted sleep - for the first time the then baby lay down in her crib without screaming blue murder. She still snorted and farted and needed rocking but the absence of cries left both me and my husband with a long term adoration for Ewan. Clicking his little foot in the middle of the night became habitual really quickly and the joy we felt when - sometime between age one and two - our daughter managed to wake up in the night, find his lullaby foot herself and use the surprisingly soothing tune to return to sleep - was delirious. Even now, age three and a half, Ewan is a constant bedtime companion and part of a well established bedtime routine.
I can’t claim Ewan makes bad sleepers into good sleepers but in our case it has definitely helped ours be less bad than she could have been and her love of the sheep is pretty adorable actually, to the extent that after one notable stomach bug, we even replaced him (please make him washable!)
It’s so much all about the sheep in this house that the baby is getting one too and was almost the first item (after nappies and lansinoh!) on my new baby list.

We love Ewan. I don't know whether it is the key to sleep but it can be soothing for all!
He looks great and is a good teddy too.

It does eat batteries so quickly and is pricey but probably average in comparison to other similar products.

We bought this as our little girl would only settle on own if white noise was playing. My little girl absolutely loves her Ewan the sheep and bows she’s a bit older will often play with it. It comes with 4 different settings but our baby will only settle with the hoover sound with the heartbeat in the background but does enjoy the music now she’s older. She also will be amused by the red light in sheeps belly that lights up when pressed. I have recommended this product to many new mums who’s babies enjoy white noise the only downside I have found is that batteries do not last longer than 2 weeks in this product and we only use it a couple of times a night. Also when the batteries are running low the sheep will still light up but with hardly any sound so you have to replace batteries even though they haven’t actually ran out yet. Although spending more on batteries than I would like still love this product as my baby is now quite happy in her cot.
