These saved my breastfeeding journey. I relied on shields for my baby to latch due to lack of support at the time and I found these much easier to use than other brands. They're slightly thicker than a few others and so not as flimsy. They would fall off occasionally when baby was being fussy but that's to be expected. They're easy to clean and handled the steriliser fine. The little box is very handy and saves you from losing one as well as keeping them clean. It also makes them easier to take out with you.

I bought these from a recommendation from a friend as my son couldnt/wouldn't latch at all at birth, and I wanted to encourage breastfeeding. They were a good price, about £5 in total with delivery for 2 shields.
When I began to use this my son finally managed to latch (albeit only for a minute at most) and it eased pain too. It really was helpful in establishing the latch, however with a wriggle baby it got knocked out of place so easily and often baby began to get a bit angry and wouldn't latch again. I learned (sadly too late) that if you hand express a little milk and dab it on to the shield it actually helps stick the shield to your nipple and makes it a little easier to keep in place. Despite the little trouble at first ill definitely have these in my hospital bag for the next baby, just in case they're needed!

These nipple shields are great for first time mums who are trying to get the hang of breastfeeding. I used them for about 2 weeks with my first child and they worked great in getting my little girl to latch on and kept me persevering with breastfeeding. When my second came along to help at the start I only needed them for a couple of days. Great buy.

I like the Nuk shield as it is slim design which gives it a good seal on the nipple area. So it doesn't slip off during feeds.
I would recommend it to any lady thinking of breast feeding, to keep at home. You may never need them. But if you do they do the job well.

I was gifted these from a friend who had bought them but because she was unable to breast feed due to her daughter being unwell on breast milk so had to use formula. they were unused in the box.
I had been using boots own nipple shields to help with my baby latching on as she was struggling to feed on the nipple without them. the only problem being they slide all over my breast they didnt stay put on the nipple. This was all within the first 10 days of being born. we used these shields for every feed and even when out until she no longer needed them to feed at roughly 6/7 weeks. we haven't used the nipple shields since as she is latching fine and we have not had any problems with my nipples being sore or cracked since then.
I would recommend them and have done to anyone who is having issues with latching on, I was told not to use them by the hospital as they are not a long term solution, I was then advised by my local breast feeding support worker to use them for as long as she needed them because she was just struggling to open her mouth to latch on and as she got bigger she would eventually get it down (which she did) and hearing that helped me feel better about it.
we still have them on standby in case of any issues as we have started teething as they helped me be able to breastfeed my baby.

Very soft and comfortable. My daughter took to them very quickly. My only fault is you cant sterilize in the storage container supplied.
