This car seat really is great. We were brought it by grandparents after alot of research was done by them. The car seat can be used from birth for a number of years as it have several seating positions so saves having to keep spending out of expensive seats. The safety features on this seat are also excellent. We spent a lot of time looking into car seats as we hadn't heard of Joie but in all honesty you will not be disappointed.

Joie stages is a great car seat, easily installed with your cars seat belt and will last your child until they are 12 years old.

I wanted a car seat that would last a long time and could remain rear facing until 4 years old. This car seat ticked all these boxes and price is really good too. My son has always looks comfortable and is happy to sit in the car for long car journeys.

We opted for a stay in car seat as I have a bad back and didn’t want to be carrying a clip in one in addition to a baby’s weight! Our car didn’t have isofix so we found this little beaut which fitted the bill perfectly.

It starts at newborn stage with an additional insert and fully reclined, and grows with the child. You can change from backward facing to forward facing and change the recline of the chair so that they are eventually sat upright.

It is quite a task to get the seat in backward facing just because all cars only ever seem to have just enough seat belt but once it is in, it feels really secure and the straps are easy to open and close.

The only couple of complaints I have of this seat I have is, there is no carry handle when you do need to move it out the car, so it’s hard to manoeuvre. Secondly there are a lot of holes and nooks that sick can get in, if you have an incident, which are really hard to clean. They seem like useless little nooks to me so I’m not sure why they are there apart from to make cleaning hard?

Saying all of that, we do have another on the way and will probably get another of these for them as I’ve been very happy with it and it is a great price.

Really spacious car seat that is going to last for years. I love that it can rear face for longer. The car seat is really easy to install in the car only downside is it is quite bulky and heavy when needing to carry it. Loved the choice of colours. Overall super happy with the car seat and little boy always looks comfy and safe in it.

I have this car seat in cherry for my Lg who is 6 months old. We use it in the rear facing setting and find it keeps her in a great position for driving and adapts very well to her quick growing. LG seems to prefer being in this to her previous car seat.
The only issue is you can't get her out without waking her up so I spend a lot of time sat on my drive!

We brought this to use as soon as our son was born and still use it in the rear facing position now 3 years on. We hope to use it rear facing for at least another year. We chose this seat mainly for the extended rear facing and the fact it will be the only car seat we need until out son no longer needs a car seat.

This product is an excellent all rounder. You don’t have to worry about getting another car seat. It has lots of suppprt and is comfy it’s very easy to install. I love that it has extended rear facing as it gives me peace of mind. The only negatives I have is the design is very generic and I think this could be quite boring for some people.

We bought this as our main car seat and we weren’t disappointed. Very easy instructions and fitting, and a comfortable
ride for my little one. It is rear facing until approx 4 years which is great, and moving it between cars is easy. My only real annoyance is the straps twist a lot, which can make the buckle hard to do up.
  • 5.00/5
    • Strengths:

My son looks so comfy in it and I love that it goes up to 7 years

    • Weaknesses:

Have to lift a heavy toddler over seat belt as its not isofix when rear facing

    • Value for money
    • Easy to use
    • Design
We brought this car seat before my son was born as it looked so comfy for him. We started using it when he was about 4 month old as before this he just seemed too small for it so used the car seat that came with our travel system. I also liked that it went up to age 7 for longevity if the car seat. The every stage wasn't out then but I'm not sure about using the same car seat for 12 years anyway. It is also a very big car seat and although we have a big 5 door car the seat has to go in the middle to be rear facing. This wasn't a problem though as this is where I planned for him to go being the safest place in the car. He has always seemed very happy and comfortable in it and will sleep happily in it. I love that the padding comes put in stages so you can adjust it to your child. We have taken most of it out but have left the head hugger bit in for the moment because otherwise his head rolls from side to side when asleep in it. We still rear face now at 22 months and there is loads of room for his legs despite being tall for his age and has plenty of room to rear face for a lot longer too. Over all I am very happy with this car seat and my son appears to be too. If it had been available at the time I may have chosen the isofix version but it hasn't been that big of a problem really. I would definitely recommend it but to check it in your car first.

Car seat is great for it's purpose, keeps my child safe and secure on journeys out. Although i didn't find it very safe for when my son was newborn as it didn't recline enough. Also as he is getting bigger it gets harder to place him in rear facing as the seatbelt gets in the way, not great with short seatbelts neither. Overall this car seat is lovely and very padded and supportive for the child.

We bought Joie Stages for our 20 months old now daughter about 2 months ago and she loved it from the first time she sat in it. Finally our trips are easy and with no cry or anything. Before she used to cry wherever we went and she tried to escape from her car seat. We have nothing of it now. She loves her car seat and I can see she is very comfortable in it. It's easy to use, easy to assembly. I can recommend it to every parent.

I managed to buy this car seat for £100 brand new and it has been a fantastic purchase. This allowed us to rear face for a longer period of time and allowed my daughter to see out of the window.
Suitable from newborn and looks so comfy with the padding.
It's easy to take in and out of the car.
Only issue we have had is that the code does not go back on the back area very easily since washing it. It's a tight squeeze and then just rises up once in the car.

I really love this car seat and feel like my son is much safer and comfortable in this seat than his older one from a travel system. I love that he can stay rear facing for so long in it comfortably. Its is easily adjustable and love the newborn insert. Only downside is that the blue clip used to secure the seatbelt in place in rear facing mode isn't adequate.
  • 5.00/5
    • Strengths:

Super easy to fit and secure little one in

As with most rear facing seats getting used to putting baby in over the seat belt can be a challenge

    • Design
I love the look of this seat and how comfortable my little boy looks in it. You can extend rear facing which made me choose this seat to ensure my lb is safe. The seat can be stripped down and cleaned quite easily with minimal stress. I would definitely recommend to friends.

Recently purchased this car seat it was great value for money, the design is nice and comfortable for my daughter. It doesn’t recline while she is rear facing so when she falls asleep her head sometimes leans forward which looks uncomfortable not that she complains. Would recommend to someone who is looking for a car seat.
