Absolutely love this car seat! Wanting to follow safety advice to rear face for longer isn't always easy on a budget, but Joie make it possible! This seat still comfortably rear faces my nearly 4 year old and will last a decent amount of time!
The only downside is it can be a nightmare to fit, especially when needing to take in and out of cars. The pros far outweigh the cons though.

We bought this joie car seat because of it flexibility and that we could use it for different stages. It is comfortable, my son always fall asleep in it even for small journeys! I would highly recommend it! It is easy to use and to install!

Have been using this car seat since my 2 year old was 6 months. Had no problem installing it rear or forward facing. My daughter doesn't protest when going into the car seat and there is plenty of padding in the seat to make it comfortable. Fits most cars. Lasts from birth till 12 years so no need to buy multiple car seats.

This is the only car seat you will need if you want it to be as it can be used from birth until around 12 when a seat is no longer required.
It also has extended rear facing up to 4 years and you can get either a seat belt fit or and isofix fit (which I think is only for forward facing, the seat belt is still used while in rear facing mode).
The seat belt can be a bit fiddly to attach properly, especially if your arms are not that thin but once fitted it shouldn't need to be moved very often.
It is definitely value for money and I will be buying another one for my second child.

I brought this carseat for my son in blue. I have used it since birth and still using it 4years on. My son loves it. It's sturdy, supportive, it's easy to fit both rear and front facing. It is quite heavy but I would really recommend this seat. It also comes in black and red(cherry) which I have just purchased for my little girl.
I have used this in 3 different cars and have fit perfect in all three. Massive thumbs up from me.

I'm happy with the car seat. It wasn't exactly clear how to extend the belts without reading the instructions. The car seatbelt does get a little in the way with the seat in reverse but I guess this will be the same for every belted car seat.

I took this car seat back.
It was difficult to operate and I was horrified when I went for my first 10 minute drive with my first baby to find that her head was floppy. In my opinion it is not suitable for a new born or young baby with no head control.
My babies shoulders could have easily slipped out of the arm straps at the shoulder as she was so tiny. I was terrified. Also when trying to tighten the harness once connected the left strap would be very tight, and the right strap would be loose. When my baby had her 8 week check the doctor was worried about her left hip and I suspect this was due to the car seat. Also if the right shoulder could slip out as the belt is too loose that is completely useless.

I took it back and got a better one

We have this as a spare in Dad's car and also one in Nana's car. My son finds it comfy however I do find it hard to fit as there is a blue clip that goes on the seatbelt to stop it moving about which is super hard to fix on!!

We were recommended this car seat for my oldest son 4 years ago and were very impressed to hear about its high safety standards and the great value for money. After further research I was even more impressed with the safety standards. My son was then involved in an accident whist in the chair and didn’t even wake up from his nap! The chair was completely undamaged but obviously replaced anyway. Because I feel so confident with this chair I replaced like for like and gone on to purchase my younger two sons the exact same seat and recommend it to everyone who will listen!

I bought this when my son was 9 months, I initially found it quite difficult to get the straps to fit properly on his shoulders and got quite frustrated but after adjusting it properly and ensuring he wasn't wearing anything bulky at all I haven't had any problems. I do find it is quite reclined, but I don't think it's any more than other other rear facing car seat. Now at 16 months, my son is still very comfortable and I plan to use it rear facing as long as possible.

We used this car seat from from when out LO was 9 months and it was easy to fit in the car rear facing and even easier to move it forward facing. The new born insert is soft and comfy and can be removed in stages to make it as comfy as the child needs.

We brought this car seat about 5 months ago now and is soo easy to install with the seatbelt compare to our old car seat. This car seat is very light to others which is good when changing from car to car. Our 1 year old hated going in the car but now loves it and goes straight to sleep when in the seat so must be as comfortable as it looks

I have had this car seat since my son was 10 months. We originally fitted it rear facing and it felt extremely secure, which I was unsure about as it is seat belt fitted, but i was very happy in it and so was my son. We turned it around when he turned 2 and it is still extremely secure and safe. It is heavy but not a problem if it is remaining in one car. I will be purchasing another for my daughter.

I would recommend this car seat to anyone I know. And from birth as well. My son loves it as he feels like he is sitting like a big boy as he sits forward facing. If I didn’t have a baby seat I would have got this one from birth. It’s a one does all. So easy to install and clean. It gets swapped between car in a matter of minutes and fits in nearly all size cars.

I bought this product for my daughter when she was 5 months old and is now 7 months. It was easy to install and she looks very comfortable. I like how it reclines and how she can use it from birth to 7 years. The padded cushion kept her in a comfortable position when used. I like knowing she is safe with the impact protection. I sometimes find the straps a little awkward to get over her shoulders properly. Especially now she's older and is more difficult to sit still while getting her in the car seat, I find the straps can be difficult to get over her shoulders enough. Also I would like if there was somewhere to attach toys. I like when a car seat has a handle as I can then attach toys to keep my daughter occupied. Although I did know buying this product it came without a handle. Overall a lovely product and a good price for the amount of years it's going to be used.

We have used this car seat from birth for our nearly 4 year old and it is still going strong. The padding can be easily removed when the stages require and the rear facing element latest my child (who is on the 98th centile!) longer than expected. It fits well in both of our cars and is easy to fit, would definitely recommend!

As a mum of 3 sturdy boys and also a childminder I am very knowledgable about car seats, pros and cons and what each one does and how they differ. I wanted a rear facing seat that would last m6 3rd son for as lon* as possible in the rear facing position. He was 85cm tall at 9 months old and buying a car seat did prove to be a challenge for the longevity but also comfort for him.
We chose the stages seat and have found it amazing. He loves being rear f8ng and because the seat is high up he can see out of the window. The recline in the rear facing position isn’t fantastic and I would question if it declines enough if I were to use this from newborn. This maybe something you wo7ld wan5 to double check but for our uses it’s fine.

Fitting it is super easy and the green guds for when the seat is fitted correctly are really handy and easy to see.

All in all it is a fab seat that sits our family and our youngest son.
