I started using this for colostrum expressing at 36 weeks. It really worked. I managed to get 60mls in 3 days. It’s easy to use literally just one button. Starts stimulating then once it’s finished it automatically turns to expression mode. It doesn’t hurt in the slightest like some do. Expensive but worth it. My only fault is it can get clogged a little easily.

I had huge issues with breast feeding and could manually extract milk and I bought this pump as like it. Firstly,it has two regimes :the first works as a baby stimulating the milk supply and the second works for fast milk extraction.
It helps to work out the nipples when you have flat nipples.
The pump is powerful and you can easily extract milk in 15-20 minutes.
One issue is when the milk flow is great ,some milk can penetrate onto the pump but you can easily clean inside it.

This product has made exclusively breast feeding so much easier as my son was unable to latch.
The pump is easy to use and gets milk out quickly and effectively. Although it’s a bit pricey it is worth every penny!

Best pump ive used gets milk out so fast instead of being at it for ages.
Only problem is if your boob is so full and your milks coming out really fast it can get in the tube so you have to clean the pump out.

This is so much better than using a handheld pump, the suction is great, its portable so can be plugged in at the mains or battery operated and is so simple and easy to use. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it if you are planning on expressing lots.

I was given this model 4 years ago when I had my first child and am now using it with baby number 2 to support breast feeding. We have almost reached 6 months exclusively breast fed but would not have made it without the help of this pump! We first used it to give baby top up feeds as he was a lazy feeder, and have subsequently used it to maintain my supply for the (odd) night's baby sleeps through. It's so much easier than a manual pump and using the Medela milk storage bags we now have a healthy stockpile in the freezer. This is a must if you are breastfeeding!

I’ll definitely be using this again for the second time around!

    Cons:
It is a bit on the pricey side.

    This pump is great.

My son was born premature and this pump allowed me to express at home. It’s really easy to use and has two settings to mimic natural feeding and help your let down. I managed to achieve a larger volume with this pump when compared to a manual pump.

I switched from a manual pump to this one and it was the best thing I’ve done! It’s comfortable and easy to use, and also pain free. You can put batteries in it so it can be mobile which is great when coupled with the Medela bra, you can get on with things around the house at the same time! It’s Important to get the right sized breast shield, I was using the one that came as default, once I switched size the pumping was a lot more effective. It’s easy to clean and easy to get spare parts should you need to replace anything in the future.

Really good pump and I tried a few this was comfortable and do much easier than manual pumps relatively easy to sterilize and the bottle size they come with easy to store as they were relatively small so comfy I even dozed of s few times whole pumping and it still managed not to leeks.

I found the product very useful and I found myself using the product several times a day. Its great that the medela bottles connect straight to the device for easy collection and storage of the breast milk. However I did find it difficult to feed my child whilst pumping the spare breast. I also found the device to be quite loud so did disturb baby on a number of occasions. But this is easier than hand expressing or manual pumping and I have kept my product to use for next baby as I would still highly recommend.

I bought this product on the recommendation of a few mum friends and I wasn't disappointed. Came nicely packaged with all the parts and accessories, easy to assemble and worked well from the get go. It's not cheap..but then none of the better quality electric pumps are, so I would strongly recommend this for anyone planning on building up a store, express breastfeeding or trying to stimulate milk production. My only criticism is the noise..there is nothing discreet about the racket made by this Pump..so if you're in public, at work or on a train is recommend a quieter or manual pump..otherwise you will get funny looks

I was a bit worried about using a breast pump but this pump made it so easy. Once assembled it is very easy to use. The microwave sterilizing bags are also a really good idea and easy to use. Only downside is the price but when a product works as well as this it is a good investment

This is the best breast pump i have tried so far!
Really easy to use, great suction to it, makes pumping not so hard work. After trying many manual breast pumps & not getting anywhere I tried this one and was so much better I cant tell you!! It has helped me through mastitis twice and is very easy to clean.
    Would highly recommend!!

This is the second electric pump I’ve tried. My baby is 7 weeks so I’m not sure if my supply has something to do with it but I sometimes get 100mls in half an hour and other times I get 50ml. What I like about this is you can purchase different size flanges. The standard size was still to big for me and partly the reason why I counsel express a lot. I’ve now ordered the smaller one and I’m happy with the amount of milk it pulls. There is different settings so you can mimic the strength of your babies suck. I feel like it Pumps out better quality milk (rather than the watery milk you get at the start of a feed) you just have to invest a lot of time into it to get a lot of milk.

I used this to pump for my twins and found the design worked for me really well. Having the stand was fantastic! It isn't top noisy but felt powerful enough for me. The different settings were great for adjusting the power as and when needed.

I couldn’t be without this product, it works so well! I love the fact it’s got different settings because not all women are the same! The only down side to this is the length of the suction tube between the pump and bottle. Overall, best investment

When breastfeeding didn't work out and pumping manually became a chore, this product saved me from hand ache and totally giving up!

It is very easy to use and very easy to sterilise. My only problem with this was that it is quite noisy so not very discreet but fine in the comfort of your own home.

This is a great pump. Very easy to use with adjustable suction strength. The cycle starts with short quick suction ( to stimulate breast) and then adjusts to long slower suction (once flow is established) after a few minutes to imitate how a baby nurses. You can manually switch the pump to long suction if the flow is established quicker. It's easy to clean and comes with calma year which is really fantastic. My baby had no problem feeding from the bottle with this year. This is great advantage ad I could involve my husband in feeding as well.
I used it while plugged in as found that batteries don't last too long.
Overall, I'm very happy with this pump.

I was using medela swing as my first pump after I failed to nurse my baby during first month. After I changed it to double breast pump as it was so much faster and easier for me. I would recommend medela swing for those who does not need to use it regularly, As I used it 8 times per day and even more frequent sometimes. It is good for rare pumpings when you need to go out and leave some milk for your baby, but for those who need to pump 8 times a day and do it every day I recommend double pump, it will make your life much easier.

Medela swing is quite silent comparing with other pumps I used, I was using it every night and three times per night and my husband never complained about the noise it made. There is a teat and bottle in the package, however my little baby never managed to such with this teat.
