I love this product! The egg changes colour as the temperature in the room changes so I don’t need to be wide awake to read the screen and the colour instantly tells me. The cable is great too as it isn’t too short and it is smallish in size meaning it doesn’t make the too too bright. A really easy to use product then I would defo recommend and use if I had another baby.

Love this egg, really gave me piece of mind. It’s not 100% accurate but gives a good idea of room temperature. Love that it has a smiley face at the right temperature and sad face if it’s too hot or cold. Also love that it lights up so can be used as a night light. Love that it colour co ordinated so blue for too cold red for too hot. Also has a guide attached to the back which is handy Great wee buy!

We have this in our bedroom and have moved it around several places due to it always seeming to be hot even when the room feels cold. I'm not 100% on it accuracy as I have a thermometer on the watch which differs quite a lot so without a specific thermometer to test I'm not convinced.
We use it as a guide as to when to open a window or pull a blanket back - Strengths:

We were gifted one egg and initally moved it from livingroom to bedroom each day/night but loved it so much we bought a second one. Having a winter baby it really helped to reassure us we were dressing baby appropriately for temperature. Would highly reccommend - Strengths:

We love just having the product in the corner of our baby’s room. It’s tells us what temperature her bedroom is and we love the fact that it changes to 3 different colours so just by having a glance you will know whether the bedroom is to hot, to cold or just right. Great product as all gro products are. Stylish and great little night light too.

The gro egg is a must have for any new parent. Plug it in and it tells you the temperture of baby's room. The colour changes to being too hot, good temperture or too cold so you know if you need to add another blanket or tale one away. Definitely a must have item for new parents. - Strengths:

I bought this in the scorching summer months when my baby was born. I was so worried for my little one as he was getting a lot of heat spots and rashes. This thermometer helped me to adjust his clothing and bedding so everything was the right temperature for him. It is so easy to see during the night as it works as a night light as well. We used this product loads and still are using it in our daughters bedroom 2 years on. It works very well as a nightlight, it has great bright colours and is very alerting with the bright colours when temperature is out of range. The digital display is easy to read and isn’t distracting for baby/toddler. The only issue I have with the product is that the temperature guide when followed seemed to be slightly too cool for our daughter and she slept a little better in a warmed room. This happened to be on the amber light, we always ensured that our daughter was safe and didn’t overheat as I was very paranoid about this! Baby wasn't sleeping well & once we realised he was a bit cold (due to this) we added an extra long sleeve & he slept doubke the length of time. Life saver!
Careful to put the glo close to where baby is lying as heat rises d can give a false reading. The light is now a nightlight that both baby &. I like for sleeping/feeding later at night. - Strengths:

We had is in the nursery room, where i could see from far how hot or cold is in the room, as the colour indicates the temperature. My partner bought this when my little girl was 2 days old as she was born in the middle of a freezing cold winter and we were constantly obsessing over whether the room was too hot or too cold.
We used it downstairs initially and it is now in her room as she sleeps in there now.
It changing colour depending on what the temperature is (red- too hot, etc.) This is very useful to have a quick glimpse and instantly know what the temperature is.
Only downfall is it is not battery compatible which would have been a little better than needing to take up a plug socket.

I wouldn’t really class this product as an essential. It was handy when our baby was newborn- as first time parents it gives you piece of mind and let’s you determine what is best to be dressing your child in. The colour signal is great- can be seen from across the room so easy to make changes in room to adjust temp if necessary. Now my baby is 6m I really don’t tend to use it. I thing the charging wire is a little bulky and found the penguin design (plastic addition) did become a little discoloured over time. Overall, does what is says on the tin but wouldn’t suggest purchasing if on a tight budget as don’t see as an ‘essential’ - Strengths:

This item has been one of the most used items in the first 4 months of having our daughter. We use it 24 hours a day to monitor the temperature of our room for her daytime naps and night time sleep.

A must have product for any new parent. Gives confidence to new parents when deciding how to dress new baby for bed in various seasons. I love the gro egg, we bought ours in a sale for half the usual price, always accurate temperature readings, I love the how it tells you the temp via the colours also, it makes for a great night light. The only downside is the wire is a bit bulky at the back where it connects to the gro egg. Other than this is the best room thermometer for babies - Strengths:

We bought this for ease of knowing our boys room temp. It is lit up and has a digital display which means we can see it from the doorway easily and the colour changes according to temperature. The downside was if it hit a lower temp in winter the room would light up really bright with a blue colour. This was OK to alert us but did disturb the boy especially if he woke briefly. This wasn't often however. The price was on the higher side but due to ease of use we bought one anyway. I know you can buy character accessories for them too but we didn't have one. As a first time mother I needed to purchase a room thermometer to but my mind at rest. The gro Egg thermometer has an easy to read screen and has a colour changing feature for when the temperature changes. The colours help me know how to dress my baby for bed giving me the reassurance I need that I am not over or under dressing my baby for bed. The gro Egg also has a soft subtle glow which acts a night light. My son loves looking at this as he loves lights!

A blue glow indicates it is too cold (under 16°C), while yellow signals the recommended temperature (16°C to 20°C), orange is warm (20° to 24°C) and red means it's too warm (over 24°C).
