I couldn't breastfeed without it. My little one asks for milk every 2 hours during the day, and every 1 to 2 hours at night time, so my nipples are quite sore sometime,s and this cream works like magic.
I can not recommend it enough :)

I used this whilst breastfeeding and it really helped when my nipples were sore and cracked. It’s reallt soothing, however can sometimes encourage thrush in a babies mouth.
I also found it difficult to get out occasionally, and it did congregate around the top of the packaging but still really recommend.

The first few weeks or so can be quite difficult for breastfeeding, sometimes nipples can become sore, this cream is absolutely amazing, I used it quite frequently in the beginning of my breastfeeding journey and found it to be fast acting and very soothing.

When I first started breastfeeding my newborn son I neglected to use nipple cream thinking that it was “in case of emergency only” but I soon realised I was sorely mistaken and cracked open my first tube of Lanolin which was a gift from my mother-in-law. It was only when I went to replace that tube that I saw the price and opted for a high street pharmacy own store brand alternative and I massively noticed the difference. Lanolin is super thick, it’s almost like you can feel it working and when you’re really cracked and sore you can notice the difference straight away. The biggest thing though is that it didn’t leave everything greasy or stains on my clothes! Not only did the cheaper version take forever to wash off of hands and nursing bras but you had to use twice as much to stop the nipple from actually chapping. Yes Lanolin is expensive but if you really want something that works then it’s absolutely worth it!

This nipple cream is by far one of the best nipple creams on the market I have sworn by it for years I tried lots of things when suffering with cracked soar nipples including cabbage leaves but once I tried the lansinoh lanolin nipple cream I never looked back it instantly soothed the pain and the healing time was amazing I will always use this product when breastfeeding and would recommend it to anyone planning on and breastfeeding.

I have breast fed my baby since she was born until now at 8mnth and still going strong, I love this product as on occasion get very sore especially as my daughter feeds every two hours and is teething so at times is has been hard but this product soothes when I need it
I always have a tube to hand either in changing bag and one beside my bed

Fantastic product have used this with all three of my children and have bought this for my sister too while she was breastfeeding as I knew she would at some point need to use it.

When my daughter was born I had extremely sore, cracked, bleeding nipples for the first week. I used Lansing ointment following what Heath visitor's advice and it was a real life saver. After a few applications, I saw and felt a difference, and a couple of days later they were completely healed.
The only downside was that it left stains on my clothes, but the soon came off after a few washes.

My mother in law sent me a tube of this when my baby was born. I already had an own brand tube of lanolin but this is far superior. You only need a tiny bit, it provides instant relief, and apart from making your bra greasy once it’s on, it’s on. The only downside is that it is expensive - lasts forever though - and if you do accidentally leave it in a draft or cool place it’s a nightmare to get out the tube!

I used this nipple cream a lot in the early days of breastfeeding. My baby wasn’t latching quite right at first, but the midwives kept saying it looked like he was latching fine. Needless to say I soon had sore and bleeding nipples. Lanolin saved me a lot of extra pain whilst my baby and I figured out how to do it properly.

You can use this cream before feeds as well as it is safe for the baby to consume. This means it provides a little extra protection whilst the baby is feeding. I then applied it straight after feeds as well, to help soothe.

The cream has a nice smell to it, which isn’t overpowering so it doesn’t put the newborn off feeding.

The only downside is a few of my tops ended up with greasey Marks that I haven’t figured out how to remove.

When you start breast feeding you are often told that if it hurts you’re doing it wrong.
What I wasn’t told is that some pain and discomfort is actually normal at the beginning. My nipples were sore and scarred by day 4. I assumed it was me and promptly had a lactation consultant come to see me at home. She sent my partner off for lanisoh and the rest is history. 5 months in and we’re still going strong. I still have loads of the ointment left as you don’t need lots so now it’s used for teething rash. It’s great stuff and worth every penny.

This worked great when my nipples got really sore from feeding my tongue tied baby. They got cracked and bled and Lanolin was perfect to help soothe them. It also worked as a great barrier when my nipped were sore and dry and rubbed against my breast pads. Great too that it’s flavourless so doesn’t effect baby when feeding.

This was a life saver with my third child, as she has a very shallow latch and caused damage to my nipple's.
It's nice to know that when you have it on you don't have to worry about wiping it off before baby latches on.
It's thick enough that it doesn't get wasted by soaking into your breast pads.
I did find that when it was cold the product was harder to squeeze out and needed a bit of warming on my hand before applying.
Would definitely recommend having some before baby is born just in case.
