I had some problems breastfeed at first as my daughter wasn’t latching on properly so she left me quiet sore after feeding but this cream helped a lot. I don’t think I would have managed to caring on breastfeeding if I didn’t have this. I’m still using it. Also I like the fact you don’t have to wipe it off to feed. - Strengths:

I bought a tube of lanisoh lanolin cream just because it was mentioned by a few mums, however the price nearly put me off. I'm am so grateful that i purchased this as the breastfeeding at the start is so hard and I had bleeding nipples within 24hrs. If I didn't have this cream to give my nipples a barrier to heal and allow me to continue breastfeeding, I would have stopped within the first week. Thanks to this cream I continued for 12 months, and only used the cream during the first few weeks. This is a must have item! - Strengths:

Great product for nipples that have become cracked and sore. Quickly heals and soothes so breastfeeding can continue. It is safe for baby to feed on breasts without washing off
It’s good to keep it from getting to cold as it can be difficult to squeeze from tube. I find it works great for nappy rash also. The price is steep in my opinion but it does last a long time and really can save a breastfeeding journey. If issues persist be sure to have the latch checked as nipples should not be getting damaged when breastfeeding. - Strengths:

Only needed to use when baby was new born worked well by coating the nipple and allows healing. Baby didn't seem to dislike the taste and texture as was still breastfeeding while cream in place. - Strengths:

If you are breastfeeding then you definitely will need this. It is quite expensive but worth every penny. Used it constantly in the first few weeks of feeding and luckily it worked a treat. I find it very easy to apply, the effects are visible and feel straight away. It is but hard to squeeze from the tube but it’s very good quality. Price could be but less than it is for the amount.

As a first time mum, I have chosen to exclusively breastfeed my baby. This product has been very helpful whenever my nipples are sore/painful and they heal quite fast. It works well for sore nipples however I found it very hard to apply compared to other nipple balms. It needs warming up before you can apply it which makes it difficult to get out of the tube to start with, it's then very sticky and sticks to your fingers!
It's expensive compared to others due to the high lanolin concentration but personally I found cheaper alternatives just as effective and easier to use. - Strengths:

The sorts out sore nipples quickly and makes it bearable to feed baby if you've got painful nips. However when your nipples no longer need it you can also use it on your lips, it's lovely and moisturizing. I used this in my first week of breastfeeding, when my nipples were adjusting to my forever-latched-on baby. I was sceptical at first about how quick it works and that our son would refuse the breast if he smelled/tasted it. Straight after first use, it was an instant relieve! My nipples stopped being itchy and sore, my baby latched on as usual and did not stop feeding. My skin is also super sensitive, I suffer terribly from eczema and was worried that it might also trigger some rash as all the mainstream products do to me - but not this time.. that’s how I know there is just nothing nasty in it.
