I brought this car seat for my little one to make it easier than lifting one in and out of the car with baby in it , it is really comfy for her but she is only light and has turned 1 instructions aren't really clear on changing it to forward facing.

Great seat that is easy to fit but the seatbelt does get in the way, great value for money.
Extended rear facing to 18kg & my son is really comfy in it.
Good price, extended rear facing, comfortable for baby, lovely colour.
Weaknesses:
Hard to adjust the recline on the seat and tighten the straps when rear facing.

Overall a very good car seat, would definitely recommend. The extended rear facing is a big plus for me as the car seat can be used rear facing until 4 years of age. The colour is lovely as well as being dark so does not show any slight marks you may get in day to day use. The only downside is to recline the seat you have to reach under the seat which is very hard when rear facing, also to tighten the straps that is pressed up against the chair making it quite difficult too.
I love this car seat. Going from using stage 0 then 1 then 2 etc with my other two children this car seat is a refreshing change. The newborn insert means baby is nice and cosy and not going anywhere! And once the insert comes out there’s plenty of space but baby is still nice and secure. The seat has a clip that goes on the seatbelt to stop it from slacking during travel and something so simple does an amazing job at keeping the seat in place. The instructions on the side of the seat to put it in securely are nice and clear, the only downside being when the strap goes under the seat it’s a little fiddly to keep it in the correct slots and put the car seat down properly without the belt slipping out.
Over all this chair is amazing value for money, it has a nice clean design and is very comfy for baby! Once in the seat is very secure and not going anywhere and I can see it lasting rear facing for a good while!
The only negative is the fiddly strap when putting it in rear facing but once you’ve done it a few times you learn a few tricks to stop the belt slipping out.
I find this car seat so easy to use, it very light yet sturdy.
Rear & forwarding facing, my little boy loves it as it can be sat up straight or tilted with is a gray feature
Would deco recommend

The value of the seat is great. It's a really good seat for those on a budget as it is extended rear facing too ! Son has always seemed comfortable in it . It's really easy to install with the coloured installation guides.
Lovely seat. I bought to go in my mothers car as her car isn't isofix compatible. The seat is easy to use and fit and I like the fact that it rear and forward faces so it will last. My only complaint is the padding around the strap that goes between the legs come off all the time and is difficult to put back on when baby is in the seat. Also there is nowhere to attach the straps when putting baby in so you have to dig around behind and under the baby to pull out the straps. Not a deal breaker but a bit annoying when you're in a rush.
Big shell, my bigger than average boy looks perfect size in it. Very easy to install. Comfortable.
Weaknesses:
Straps can sometimes get jammed in the back.

We bought this seat when my little boy was 5 months old as he’d outgrown his infant carrier. It’s a brilliant seat for parents on a budget, especially as it rear-faces till 18kg. It’s really easy to install. Easy to use. My little boy is happy in it.
My only problems are that as I adjust the straps sometimes they get jammed in the back by catching on something. Which means I have to pull out the car seat to undo the jam and then re-install the seat, and it’s definitely not going to last him till 4 as he’s on the 95th centile for height and weight at 17 months, so will only last until 2. Just something to consider when buying, it may be budget but in the long run you will need to spend more to replace it.
But all in all it’s a fab seat for the cost, I love how safe it is and how strict Joie are with car seat testing and protection.
Really good , no problems, easy to use and move from a car to other.
We travel a long way about 2600 km and my baby look soon comfortable in .the most I like it was the fact this chair could have a recliner position and in this way was not pressure on my baby spine which is really important for a baby soon small. You can see in the picture she was fast a sleep in this chiar that show whau much comfortable and whau cosy she is in this chair.
My daughter loves her car seat, she’s so much more comfortable however I had to take all the padding inserts out as she was too big otherwise! Apart from that is lovely, very safe and sturdy! Would highly recommend.
Comfortable and sturdy. Stays rear facing until 4 which is much safer.
Weaknesses:
Difficult to tranfer between vehicles and hard to adjust strap length and shoulder height.

I have purchased 2 of these car seats, one for each of our family cars. My daughter looks so comfortable in this car seat and no hard surfaces. When strapped into the car the car seat is sturdy and doesn't wobble about. It is reasonably difficult to strap into the car, although the instructions are good and online videos to show you how.
Once you understand how to strap it into the car its a bit easier but fiddly enough I wouldn't want to transfer between both our cars regularly. Although that doesn't matter too much because the price is fantastic so rather than bothering transferring we just bought another when we realised how impressed we were with the other aspects of the car seat.
Doesn’t suit rear facing in my car, hard to clip in when rear facing

Great car seat overall, my daughter sits comfy and is safe, but the downfalls are the fact it doesn’t sit right in my car seats meaning I can’t use it rear facing, and it’s hard to clip in when rear facing too.
Lovely seat, enabling rear facing to 18kg, had to buy seat for my youngest as she was at the height limit for her infant seat, this was on offer for £60 and so I brought it. Lovely, my little one looks comfortable in it too. Did have a problem with material bobbling after one wash, I emailed joie who sent me another set of covers so excellent customer service too.
I have bought two of these car seats as a second for grandparents. I like how it is rear facing for longer than some of the other options out there and is really comfy with lots of options for padding etc. So far my little one is happy and comfortable.
Fab comfy car seat with lovely comfy inserts for baby, has a range of recline positions. Found this very easy to install and baby seems very comfortable and happy in it , sometimes the buckle cover comes off when putting baby in the seat but it just as easily goes back on again, would highly recommend.
Short compared to other stage 1 seats so outgrown somewhat quicker if tall child is in

A great mid range budget seat from a good name in car seat safety. Easy to install both rear and forward facing, and sits secure in the car even without isofix. Covers are fully washable, and easy enough to remove and put back on once dry. Slightly shorter than other stage 1 seats, so this was outgrown height wise here before it was too small for the weight. A great all rounder seat.
Easy to fit, sturdy, forward and rear facing, higher quality testing.
Weaknesses:
Only up to 4 years

This seat has been a lifesaver. It’s higher so she can see out of the windows, rear faces so no need to worry about safety. Very easy to fit and very sturdy. Easy to clean also which is a massive plus!
Really nice sturdy car seat seams to fit into the car seat very nicely. Love the fact that i can tip it back when my little one falls aslepp alothough it can be tri ky to tip. Comes with loads of attachment which mean it will last for a long time.
Can only have it in ome place in the car which is not a good thing

Lovely car seat very comfortable and cosy. Love that it can go rear and forward facing. Was a bit of a nightmare to fit into the car with the instruction as they ain't very clear but YouTube have videos x
ERF for a cheaper price than normal, very padded and comfortable!
Weaknesses:
The shell is very small, my just gone two year old will need a new one before the end of spring

Whilst the tilt is great for those on a budget who would like to resurface their toddlers for as long as possible, it’s short shell isn’t great for tall or chubbier children
Great for rear facing but recline not the best on front facing. Did the job for my baby when he out grew his rear facing as this is so much more spacious.
Unlikely to last until 4 due to low shell height, not very secure while rear facing in my opinion

I really like the joie tilt, it is affordable. It is. Very light and compact seat, easy to fit it in a smaller car.
However, while rear facing I feel it can be quite wobbling and doesn’t feel 100% secure. Also it has a very low shell. Overall it is a nice seat, me and my son both like it
Not easy to fit into car and straps become twisted easily

We upgraded to this seat when our son was 11 months old and he is very comfortable in it. I like the fact it can rear face for longer and is built to last. It is good value for money. We travelled 6 hours on holiday to Cornwall and he was comfortable in this seat. Would recommend to anyone on a budget.
A budget friendly extended rear facing carseat, can rear face up to 18kgs (around 4 years) which is 5x safer than forward facing. You can't put a price on your child's safety but for us who don't have a massive budget this seat is fantastic. Can be a little uncomfortable on longer journeys but you should be stopping every 1 1/2-2 hours anyways so not a huge issue.
The Joie Tilt car seat is a perfect choice for familiues who don't need to use their car seat as part of a travel system, but want to secure it firmly and securely into the car and leave it there, Minimising faff and making a savvy investment with the Joie Tilt combination car seat which will last throughout your child's baby and toddler years. Everything you deserve and expect safety wise including the height adjustable 5 point harness and side impact protection.
Comfort assured with the adjustable harness, padded seat, lower body support insert and buckle cover. You must use the Joie Tilt in a rear facing position from birth and until at least 9kg/20lbs (usually around 9 months of age), at which point you can turn them to face forwards in the car OR keep them facing backwards as recommended until 18kg/40lb.
Features:
Group 0+/1 car seat suitable from birth to 18kg/40lbs (approx. 4 years)
