These have been an absolute lifesaver during cluster feeding seasons. I started using them when baby was about you be was about 2 weeks old and I was and I was considering stopping breastfeeding (in favour of pumping and bottle feeding) due to nipple pain. These were great because they gave my nipples a break but still let baby feed from the breast. I use them infrequently now as as feeding has become more comfortable, but, that have been recommending them to any BF friends who are struggling!

I have quite small soft nipples so baby isn’t latching on. This helps him to get some milk but it still hurts, we still have to use a bottle.

Great product that enabled me to breastfeed. Easy to use with simple instructions. Excellent value for money and very long lasting throughout a 14 month journey. Bright yellow storage box makes it easily identifiable at the bottom of the changing bag when out and about.

I would highly recommend these to anyone who's baby is struggling to breastfeed. I used these with my eldest, from when she was a few days old, who struggled to feed. As soon as I started using these she fed really well. She eventually self weaned off using them and then fed really well without them. I feel I may have given up with breastfeeding if I hadn't of found out about these and used them.

It is very useful product when baby has difficulty with latching but also it is very good to use when brests are engorged and nipples are swollen. A small disadvantage of this product is that milk might leak on the side and it might slips
    off.

I am very thankful for these shields and they enabled me to successfully feed.my baby for 5 weeks. After this point my nipples would touch the end and rub causing them to bleed so I chose to stop using all together. This came.with other problems. However I am very pleased they helped.me for so long

I would highly recommend these nipple shields, they really helped with supporting and establishing breastfeeding with my daughter. Not only did they help with protecting the nipple but I feel they really encouraged her to stay latched as she got used to feeding too. I did find they didn't stay put throughout a feed though and ended up naturally weaning my daughter off them. Easy to clean and use. Very comfortable. The case that comes with the shields is handy for throwing them in the nappy bag - but it doesn't keep them totally clean.

This product saved our breastfeeding journey! I struggled massively with breastfeeding at the start and couldn't get my new baby to latch. I was recommended to buy some nipple shields and found these. They literally saved our breastfeeding journey and made it possible to feed for another 5 months!
They are so easy to use. You just pop them over your nipple and pop baby on. Hold down the sides if needed whilst baby latches properly and then you're good to go. I worried they would be fiddly but they really aren't. They are so easy to clean too. All you need is a little hot water and washing up liquid. They come with a little case to pop them in when not in use which I thought was a lovely idea to keep them out of sight. They are really soft, flexible and thin silicone type material. Lovely product and I am so glad I found them.
    Would highly recommend.

I was given a couple of these in the hospital to try as my baby was prem and had trouble latching. He took to these immediately! I've since tried him with other nipple Shields, but he doesn't like them, so I bought myself these.
The case they come in is super handy, and I keep sterile ones in one case and used ones in a second case.

I had a really difficult time breastfeeding my newborn who is 4weeks old. I was getting very frustrated because it was so painful.. we eventually realised my little one was tongue tied and while we waited for the appointment to get it cut, my midwife gave me these to try! They took a lot of the pain away almost straight away! I'm still using them after her tongue tie was cut because they're so comfortable. They're very easy to clean and sterilise too!

I struggled to latch my baby as my breast were too full and made it hard for my lil one to latch properly. Really helped me with that in the first few seconds. I also have flat nipples which helps to pull them out and remove after a minute. Helped me also when baby was teething and biting.

My baby and I loved these when we were having issues feeding in the easy days, especially when my nipples were bruised, cracked and extremely painful. The material these are made from is thin and the shield is more nipple shaped than some other company's which helped my baby's latch for after.

These things saved me from loosing my mind!
I am a midwife and felt immense pressure (mainly from myself) to breastfeed and breastfeed effectively. Unfortunately, I found it very very painful. This was due to a baby with tongue tie and VERY frequent feeding!
A few days in I thought I would try these shields as my nipples were ready to drop off. Breastfeeding was instantly much less painful and bearable. My baby never had any trouble latching on but I imagine these are perfect if you are having trouble with a shallow latch or inverted nipples.
8 months on and I am still breastfeeding and no longer need nipple shields. It was definitely a pain sterilising them and applying them in public but 100% worth it.
Such a simple invention but invaluable to new mums that hare ready to give up breastfeeding.

Nipple shields were the only way I Could breastfeed my daughter due to her tongue tie
As she grew and started playing with her hands she kept knocking the shield off
It’s quite fidely to use but better than having to stop breastfeeding
Nipple shields became an addiction for my daughter to feed after her tongue tie was clipped but eventually she weaned off them

After my son lost 13% of his body weight within the first 2 weeks of him being born, we were readmitted to hospital and he was fed through a tube and the doctors were pushing the formula. I was devastated and my midwife suggested trying these in order to help, but many told me that once I use shields it’ll be hard to feed without. I was torn but I wanted to carry on feeding so I gave them a go, and it was incredible. For the first time ever my son latched and we were able to feed!! I used them solidly at every feed for a few weeks and then started to wean him off them, which was very very easy and now he can feed without them (we are 5 months ebf!!) so please use these if you are struggling, they help you to carry on breastfeeding when you think it’s all about to be over! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

After trying to breastfeed a newborn who was significantly tongue tied I very quickly got sore, bleeding nipples. These really helped me heal while my baby learnt to latch on properly. I also wasnt able to produce much milk, so my son was feeding for such long, frequant periods of time. I would have given up trying to breastfeed much quicker without these. Im so glad I got them. They are easy to use, clean and I like that it comes with a case to keeps them clean and secure.

I didn’t really get on with these shields as I found the gap on the flange kept lifting the shield and letting air in and I couldn’t manage to always get them to stay on. These were recommended to me by many people but personally I didn’t get on with them

I began using these shields when my baby was a week old as we were having issues latching and baby had been using bottles. The breast feeding consultant recommended we get half shell shields so baby was still having contact and these have been amazing. Baby can latch great and we have been successfully breastfeeding for 4 months

These nipple shields were given to me by a breast feeding support worker four days after giving birth, as my baby would not latch due to me having small and flat nipples and my daughter having a shallow latch/small mouth. These helped immediately and I fed my daughter using them for four weeks, then we were suddenly able to feed without them.
I went for the medium size 20mm, which fit great and are the most commonly used size. I recommend rubbing a bit of milk or nipple cream to the side that you want to stick to the nipple as it helps to stay in place.
This shield is at a great price and you get two and a little storage box so you can keep them sterile.
Better than any other shield I used. Avoid Boot’s own.

I always wanted to breastfeed my little baby. It was very difficult to me because she didn't want to eat from my left breast. She couldn't suck it because of my flat nipple. I was so afraid that I will loose milk. This nipple shields helped me a lot! She started to suck in a second. Then I started to worry again because she didn't want to eat from right breast without shield. She just forgot how to do it . It was the first time I started to regret that I have used them. I understood why it is not allowed to provide them in the hospital. It is the shortest way to stop breastfeeding. I decided to stop using them. It took two weeks and a lot of tears and screaming but finally she started to eat normally again from both breasts. Next time I would just give baby more time.

This product is very good. They are designed really well. I had problems at the beginning of my breastfeeding journey as my baby would not latch properly and I was worried that she would not be getting enough milk. My nipples were becoming very sore as she didn’t have the correct latch and my midwife recommended these. They were amazing and now 3 months later I don’t need to use them anymore, my nipples don’t get sore and baby has the perfect latch.
