Sweet Dreamers Ewan the dream sheep

We struggled with to get out baby to settle for the first few weeks. We forgot that someone had bought us Ewan. Literally the first time we used him it worked and has worked ever since. Best baby purchase!

I love this and so does my little boy. It soothes him to sleep at night and in the daytime. It does cut out mid cycle if the batteries are low and it requires new batteries frequently.

Purchased for my baby at about 2 months old after finding it hard to settle to sleep of an evening, even with a good routine in place. From the first use, baby settled to the womb music (his favourite is the hoover!) and we still use ewan regularly now as baby approaches his first Birthday. Ewan stays attached to the cot and provides a great light if needed during the night. My little one loves to cuddle Ewan.

I am yet to be pleased by Ewan. I’m hoping this will change when my baby sleeps in his own room, however Ewan isn’t loud enough and my phone app is better. I will see how we get on once the baby goes to his own room.

My little one absolutely loves his Ewan.
It soothes him almost instantly.
Before I got the Ewan I would get the sounds on my phone and it was ok but then I couldn’t use my phone.
He sleeps with it in his crib and it automatically goes off after a certain amount of time.
It’s cute, light, cosy and can be taken anywhere. I can get on with what I’m doing instead of waiting for little man to fall asleep fully (not eyes half open and then once you move they’re up lol)

I know other mums who also swear by this item and I couldn’t agree more.

Yes it’s abit pricey but it’s definitely worth it.

Our first child loved her Ewan and we took it with us everywhere we went. It has a very quiet gentle heartbeat rythym set to the background of either music or white noise. It is easy to change the sound by clicking different feet of the sheep. It put her to sleep straight away and was handy when travelling to give her something familiar at bed time. However, as you can imagine this big fluffy sheep sitting in bed with a baby gets pretty gross pretty quickly and you can’t wash it. We tried to take the outer layer off to wash but the wires are built all through it so not possible. So we ended up buying several for my daughter over the course of the year, and they are not cheap!

However, we still bought another for my second baby and actually he hasn’t taken to it at all. So it’s just sitting in the shelf. It seems to really depend on your child as to whether it soothes them to sleep or not.

Even the dream sheep is a great little soother for any newborn. It’s feet have switches to the music/ sounds and also one red light for a night light. This product really soothes my newborn but I noticed the over a couple months the wires got a bit faulty, maybe I picked up a bad one . I would definitely recommend this product to any mother wanting to sooth their newborn baby.

I bought this for my three week old as he was having trouble settling due to colic. The four sound settings are really useful and after finding the right one for our little boy he has started settling much quicker. If he stirs in the night it will settle him straight off again for a little bit if extra sleep. As the light and sounds last for 20 minutes before turning themselves off, he is nearly always in a deep sleep by then and doesn't stir when they stop.

After wishing I’d started my son out with one of these from birth, I made sure I had one ready for when my daughter was born. It really worked for her in the early days, I would feed her and pop her back in her Moses basket after, click Ewan (who was attached to the outside of the Moses basket with the Velcro strap) on to the white noise function and she would drift off. However sometimes she would wake when he went off, so it could benefit from having the choice to play the sounds for a longer period of time. Also, if she was more restless a louder sound was required to overwhelm her, so I still needed a white noise app on my phone for those instances with the volume higher. So for me personally Ewan could be improved if you could turn the volume high although I suspect this is limited so as not to potentially harm baby’s ear drums.
A downside is that he does an annoying beep when the batteries are low (after having already played a few seconds of sound) which is counterproductive and wakes baby up! It would be better if it just didn’t come on at all or perhaps did a little flash to indicate batteries were too low to complete the sound sequences.
I would buy his product again, as I did find it effective despite the negative aspects. I would however look to buy it secondhand as I feel it’s rathee expensive for something that is just a sound box in a toy.
I also have Russell the sleepdog and I find him better value for money as you can record your own white noise to him which plays for around 30 mins if you record a 4 min clip, but you can also record other sounds tailored to your baby such as yourself singing a song.

This Ewan the sheep has saved my life my son was waking up every 2 hours and he would only go to sleep on us and as soon as you put him down he would wake.
Now I put it on lay him down and sit next to him then leave within a few minutes he is asleep and he now sleeps through if he stirs we turn it on and we all go back to sleep!

This product has been amazing at helping soothe our little one and get them to sleep. The sounds help relax our baby and help them naturally drift off to sleep.
The only downside is it only runs for 20 minutes then switches off which can disturb the babies sleep.

I love this product it's not only my babies favourite toy it's my best friend when putting my little girl down to nap.
I know it dose not work for everyone but works for me as soon as it's on it settles my little girl gives her the night light she needs and also sends her off to sleep there also sounds that don't bother me or my partner when going to sleep too a happy family all around

Use this for when baby needs sending to sleep or soothing back after a feed. The heartbeat sounds and music are great but they stop after 20 minutes and can wake baby up which is the opposite desired effect!

So this sheep is lovely. It’s very soft and easy to use. The light is lovely and warm and the white noise is very soothing.
Price wise it’s cheaper than a lot of other white noise products.
Sadly the white noise only lasts 20 minutes and you have to restart it a lot which meant the batteries died within a week.

Can’t get my baby sleep without it now. Soft and cuddle and plays perfect sounds to get the baby to sleep.
The red glow helps my baby to sleep too. Only wish batteries lasted longer.

Love it my little girls settles straight away! It’s the product that’s helped us more than anything we have bought! Think it’s good value for money if it helps you get a good night sleep I would pay it over and over again.

We were recommended this when I was pregnant so was one of the first things I bought for the baby. It really is a godsend & I didn't realise how much we relied on it to help baby nod off until I went away without it. I tried white noise apps but they really didn't work, this helps me & my husband drop of now too!
It has 4 different sounds - 1 on each foot. Music with a heartbeat in the background is our favourites. It also has white noise & a light up glowing chest. We did have to replace ours after 8 weeks as 1 of the paws stopped working. It was refunded & replaced easily though. The weaknesses are if it gets dirty you can't wash it easily so best keep it out of the way of a vomiting baby. It also uses up quite a lot of battery power as we seem to replace the batteries quite regularly.

I love this item it has litually saved us My daughter is rather clingy but this has helped get her back into her own cot. There are a variety of different sounds that can be played the light on the sheeps chest also acts like the inside of the womb because they usually only see the colour red. It has a set timer which is good but I feel that it would be even better if parents were able to set the timer themselves and that it could be plugged in to charge instead of having to keep replacing the batteries x

This product has been brilliant for my daughter. With some tough bedtime, as you do with a newborn, Ewan allows her to fall into a deep sleep whilst feeling safe and cosy. With 4 different noises such as rain, song or typical white noise and a subtle red glow, there is also the sound of a heartbeat.. reminding your baby of the atmosphere in your womb. This soothes and calms almost instantly.

This sheep is a life saver! After a week of no sleep this sheep has come into our house and taken over! Puts the little one to sleep with ease. Ewan the dream sheep has an easy set up and you can change the volume, the light and it has a 20 minute timer so you don't have to worry about turning it off! Definitely a must buy for new mum's who are having sleepless nights with a colic baby!!

Ewan really helped my little one with his sleep, was really struggling to get little one to settle so we bought this as our last hope, it worked! I chose which sound setting was best for my little one, I put Ewan on whenever he naps or goes to bed and he’s sound asleep cuddling Ewan, it can attach to car seats, pushchair, cots, and easy to replace batteries, 100% recommend if your little one loves heartbeats or white noise.

This sheep if the perfect friend for bed time, his 4 paws have different sounds all with a red light to mimic the womb. His melody doesn't get annoying as it it a long and soothing melody that isn't obvious with the repeating (gaps/cut off).
Every press lasts 30 mins (unless on demo mode 5 mins) or if you want to turn him off press and hold the button. He is soft and fluffy and my 10 week old lovedls touching his fluff. I hang him up so not in the cot.

I do find I chew through aaa batteries.

We’ve used Ewan from the moment our son was born and he loves him. He easily associates Ewan’s noises with sleepy time. Even when we’re out and about he’s not fazed by noise and will sleep in many noisy situations (a lot of which I think is down to Ewan). There are a variety of options such as loud or quiet noise, the option to have Ewanks tummy light on or off and a choice of testing each of the noises out to find a suitable one for your little one.

I only wish he played his “tunes”on a loop rather than just for 20mins each time, and that he were easily washable.

I would be lost without this! This has helped my son to sleep from his first week and helps me sleep too! It has 4 different sounds to calm baby (we use the rain sounds one) and switches off after 20 minutes which I feel isn't long enough, but if it was longer you'd have to change the batteries more often! This is worth every penny!
